Jessica Alba hits the “Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion” Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4).
The 28-year-old Fantastic actress paired her Jason Wu dress with custom-made Bruno Frisoni for Jason Wu. The shoes, based on the design from Frisoni’s Fall 09 collection were revised with a new color palate specially for Wu. The 4” heel with platform base and overlapping elastic straps is a signature of the French shoe designer.
Alba finished off her look with Van Cleef & Arpels jewels: “Cotillon” earrings with 51.08 carats of cabochon drop Zambian emeralds and diamonds, the 1967 Estate “Natte” bracelet of 44 carats of diamonds, a 1930 Estate bracelet with 8 carats of diamonds and the “Folie des Pres” ring and bracelet of diamonds and pink and mauve sapphires.

Is this the best she can do? lipstick is wrong, rapunzel hairstyle is boring, black tights and shoes are hideous…basically everything…she needs to go away

Braided hair doesnt do anyone good.. (remember Aniston at the oscars).. The earrings are similar to Angelina’s oscar ones bit these are competing with her top.. The lipstick is too bright for a glittery dress.. and i have no idea why anyone would think black tights work with this sort of a dress?? this is a D grade at best..

Is she a bartender at these events? You make it seem as though she’s famous or something. What is it that she does? Walk around with a surly face with the out of work husband. Who does the earning? Is it that baby doing commercials or what,
she’s had that hairstyle since Saturday at the Revlon walk/run event…it means she hasn’t washed her hair in days and you could tell up close…gross

The dress would be prettier if it were a floor length dress. The top is pretty and goes well with her coloring.

Again another one who should save her money and go buy some talent. That dress is god awful and she just looks like she just crawled out of a hole.
Wow she has fallen off, even though she’s talentless, she used to be a lot more confident and had somewhat of a spark in her eyes. These days her facial expressions really show how miserable she is. The two close ups say it all, the fake smile and then that constant empty look she gives, the lipstick color and the dress are cute, the shoes and tights are hidious and make her look like an old woman.
1. She is ugly and has no talent. All movies I have seen with her suck except the one where I fell asleep.
2. This dress is horrible – the style and color is very cheap and poorly designed. Can do better at Macy’s.
3. The tights and the shoes continue the ugly train.
4. The hairstyle is from Sound of Music Von Trap family except she can’t be in this family because she is a kunnt biaotch and can’t sing.
