Rachel Weisz tempers her confection of a dress with dark lipstick at the “Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion” Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4).
The 39-year-old British actress was outfitted by Vera Wang in a strapless, blush hand-painted tulle-draped gown.
“I feel like a punky princess,” Rachel said.

I like it, simply yet elegant. The lipstick is a bit much but she really pulls it off.

Where to begin? It looks like she stepped into a giant wad of cotton candy. But dress aside, the lipstick is bad, a pale peach wold have been better with her hair in an updo with lots of soft curls cascading down around her shoulders.

The dress is ok but it has a been there, seen that before vibe to it. She is very beautiful, but the lipstick is too severe to be flattering.
