OlderAmerica Ferrera Visits Navajo Nation
Ambassador America Ferrera reads a book to a young Navajo child and his mother in Chinle, Arizona on Monday (May 4).
The 25-year-old Ugly Betty star visited the Navajo Nation to cheer on mothers and children involved in Save the Children‘s early childhood development programs. Her visit coincided with the global launch of STC’s 10th annual “State of the World’s Mothers” report, released today, which highlights the importance of investing in early childhood development, starting in infancy, and future school success.
“Seeing this program in person and actually meeting the people touched by Save the Children was an incredible experience,” said America. “It was so inspiring to see how involved and engaged the parents of the children in the program truly are and how their enthusiasm and dedication positively affects their sons and daughters.”

so i have a friend that works in the industry, and managed to shoot a short film with America!!! my friend says that she is a really cranky selfish person. That she only portrays to be sweet and warmth-hearthed!!!
Jenny maybe she was having an off day, I’m pretty sure there are days when you are cranky and not full of sunshine 24/7, neither is your friend. Good for America. She is the only person that I have read about recently doing any work with Native Americans.

i was surprised when he said that, but he says that it is true. At least that what he said. I was like that cant be truth, and he repeated to me to believe it. He said that she thinks she is really important ; even though she is. But she was a major *****……………. and treated all the directors like crap and she had major tantrums through out the shooting of the film. The women is super smart my friend says her IQ is out of this world
