OlderReese Witherspoon Walks For Breast Cancer
Reese Witherspoon kicks off the Avon Walk For Breast Cancer wearing a red Temperley London “Glisten” dress and Brian Atwood black patent Wagner pumps on Monday (May 11) in San Francisco, Calif.
The 33-year-old actress spent time with five local breast cancer survivors who shared their stories thanks in part to the quality care provided by the Avon Foundation Comprehensive Breast Center and San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center.
“It was truly a privilege to share this day with those who will bring us closer to a world without breast cancer – the extraordinary scientists and doctors who provide research and care, the Avon Walkers who raise critical funds, and the breast cancer survivors whose stories provide inspiration,” Reese shared. “As a woman, a mother and the Honorary Chairman of the Avon Foundation, I am grateful on behalf of the women who are being helped today, and the future generations who will benefit tomorrow.”

Good for you, Reese. Too bad your intentions are tainted by the fact that you are PAID by Avon to do these things.

@Petra: Unfortunatelly! Which shows she is just faking it, would she support the cause if she wasn’t paid and was putting some money on it? the answer is ,….nope! You know what, my mother had breast cancer and it’s a shame that people like RW are using this illness to promote themselves, they are doing nothing for the cause, appearing in these pics is only gonna get her more publicity, but nothing for the cancer patients,.sad!

Petra, I believe not every celeb who supports a cause gets paid money for it. They might gain good publicity out of it but that’s another story. I think Reese’s case is actually an exception. Celebs usually give their own cash! Here is hoping Reese gives back money to the charity as well.

Is Reese supposed to be my role model for agreeing to meet her contractual obligations and support cancer research while picking up a $35 million dollar paycheck? People are such idiots for admiring these celebrities. Reese is one of the most self serving in the whole group.

The only reason she pretends to have an interest in breast cancer or cancer walks is because she is being PAID millions by Avon. Did she pretend to walk like she did in the DC Avon walk? There she should up at the finish line in same clothes, did a photo op, spoke for 5 minutes and left. Her total concerned time was less than 30 minutes. Is there anybody more of a fake and self-promoting ***** than Reese Witherbeard?
