British bloke Henry Cavill models a TopMan jacket in VMAN magazine’s summer 2009 issue, on stands May 14.
The chiseled 26-year-old Tudors star contemplated joining the military during his string of bad luck, which included narrowly missing being cast as Superman. Then Batman. Then James Bond. He even missed Twilight, despite the endorsement of author Stephenie Meyer.
“I was almost to the point of giving up,” Henry recalls.
As for his pretty mug as the international face of Dunhill? “I do get asked to read the good-looking bloke quite a lot,” Henry admits. “I’m not…unaware of that aspect of myself. But it’s just one aspect, and I don’t feel I’ve been pigeonholed.”

Is he referring to Edward Cullen in Twilight? Oh no, if he’s one of the last four to audition before Rob, then the general description of Kristen of the audition is not too flattering… :-(

And no, Henry never auditioned for Edward Cullen in Twilight. He wasn’t even formerly approached about the role, because although he was Stephenie Meyer’s physical ideal for Edward (she has said this herself), he was deemed “too old” to play the 17 year old vampire, and didn’t even get an audition for the part.

I dont think someone gay would want to join the military because of patriot’s pride but to see naked men galore. Cavill has expressed that he wanted to join the military because he loves the armed forces, it’s a family heritage, and also for patriot’s pride.
He’s just British and classy, doesnt have any feminine mannerism, and DATES GIRLS!
