True Blood actress Anna Paquin covers the Memorial Day issue of Hamptons Magazine. Here are some interview highlights:
On falling in love with costar Stephen Moyer (the couple has since moved in together: “Steve and I had an a certain instant connection.” She adds, “It doesn’t hurt when the relationship on screen that you’re trying to create is one of attraction and fascination.”
On being recognized for her acting: “The Golden Globe [win for her role in True Blood] feels pretty damn good because I’m an adult, and it’s the first major recognition I’ve had for my work as a non-child. Even though I’m only 26, I’ve been working since I was nine, so it feels like I worked for it.” (She also won an Oscar at the age of 9 for her performance in The Piano.)

I still can not belive she won the Golden Globe for her over rated, over acting on Trueblood! (Keira Sedgewick deserved it. )

If it was for comedy acting, then she deserved it. I thought True Blood took the piss out of hicks?
They’ve made her look good she used to look awful, with her rotten front teeth and a bit chubbier in X-Men- being on a series must be good for her health!
She’s a good actor and was very good when she was younger. I haven’t seen true blood but it sounds like Twilight.
She’s cute. I haven’t seen her show but I think her acting has been fine in the few things I’ve seen her in.

I don’t like to mention awards, but an Oscar, a Golden Globe and other several awards wins and nominations proves tha she is an excellent actress!!! I love True Blood and she made a awesome job there!

She’s an amazing actress and she deserves the GG, I love her show and Sokkie is great. She’s one of the best actress of her generation and she grew in Hollywood without visits to rehab!!!.
