OlderSummer Glau To Star In 'Dollhouse'
Summer Glau attends a press conference with costar Brian Austin Green to promote the Blu-ray and DVD release of their show recently canceled Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles in Tokyo, Japan on Wednesday (May 28).
According to EW, sounds like the 27-year-old actress might reunite with Firefly director Joss Whedon for his current show Dollhouse.
“If anybody thinks (bringing Summer onto Dollhouse) hasn’t occurred to me already then they have not met me,” Joss says. “I mentioned it to her before (SCC) was canceled. I was like, ‘You know, we should get you in the ‘house.’ But first we have to come up with something that works.”
“Summer would be perfect to play an active, but she’s done that a lot,” he says. “I’d rather see her play someone who talks too much. The most fun I have is when I get somebody who’s good and comfortable at doing something, and then I make them do something else. Summer said to me, ‘I would like to play a normal girl before I die of extreme old age.’”

(aside-how you gonna do buffy w/o buffy. it doesn’t work) i watched every episode of scc, and i like dollhouse. i love eliza, summer, olivia, and kristen kreuk, and i’m wish them lots of successes. they’re not the conventional beauties but they are fabulous and hot. lol. add alexis bledel to my list. all amazing brunettes.

I love Summer Glau but i feel she has betrayed tscc, i know the show has been canceled but i believe it was canceled because someone high up in fox is a fan of joss whedon and he decided to give dollhouse a second season instead of giving tscc a third season, and now it feels to me like summer has left the corpse of tscc and has joined its enemy and killer.

I love Summer Glau, she was amazing in Sarah Connor, but I absolutely LOVE, Eliza, and she makes the perfect main character. I do not think I would watch Dollhouse if Summer replaced Eliza, Why would anyone want that?
