Meg Ryan picks up her 4-year-old daughter Daisy True from pre-school on Thursday (May 28) in Santa Monica, Calif.
The 47-year-old Sleepless in Seattle actress joins Kristen Bell, Justin Long, and Timothy Hutton for an upcoming dark comedy Serious Moonlight.
In the upcoming movie, Meg plays a high-powered attorney who tries to prevent her husband from leaving her for another woman by binding him to the toilet with duct tape. Things get sticky when burglars break in to the couple’s home.

Last Christmas while visiting my sister in Kingston Ontario we went to see a movie and I remember seeing a woman in her 30′s entering the same ciniplex with a little Asian girl about 7 or 8. I remember fondly how they seemed in their own way happy about being together. The woman was animated and expressive while the child seemed to be very adoring of the woman. I remember thinking about how these two from very different places had found each other. I hope Megan has that relationship with this child.

Not sure what film you saw, but the Serious Monlight I saw was f”ing amazing. It’s Meg’s best film ever. And Tim Hutton was awesome, as was Kristen Bell and Justin Long. I think Cheryle Hinds directed it. I loved Waitress, which was also written by Adrienne Shelley.
