Miranda Kerr rings the bell during the official launch of the David Jones Half Yearly Clearance at the David Jones Elizabeth Street Store on Wednesday (June 3) in Sydney, Australia.
The 26-year-old Aussie supermodel denied reports that she’s engaged to actor boyfriend Orlando Bloom.
“No engagement ring,” Miranda told press. “Don’t always believe what you read.”
When asked about what her parents thought about engagement rumors, Miranda joked. ”That’s just something they have to deal with isn’t it.”

For those of you who don’t know, People magazine is deemed as a credible source since all of their stories are 100% publicist approved. Her publicist told People that she wasn’t in a position to comment and that’s what People reported. I don’t believe she ran with the story as some of her fans said the article didn’t get the town where her parents live right. I don’t believe her publicist did that without her client’s consent, and she didn’t have her consent because MK’s shut the rumours down in her first interview after the rumour started. She could’ve not said anything and let the rumours go on for a while.

They’re not a ‘private’ couple but a ‘publicity’ couple, and it’s only a few select people who are watching The Show and commenting – here and in a couple of other places. No one else cares enough to bother. I hope the 10-12 posters here enjoy talking to themselves.
Bloom and Kerr strike me as mediocre in their respective fields, and unfortunately I do get the feeling that they need each other more than really care for each other. I think they both want to “be set for life” are are willing to play whatever games they have to in order to maintain a certain life style. But that’s just my personal impression.
And their relationship is only on display to the degree they want it to be. If they really wanted true privacy, they would have it. If Johnny Depp, Viggo Mortensen, James McAvoy, Eric Bana and Matt Damon can do it, so can Orlando Bloom.
If Bloom didn’t have Kerr for his PR prop and publicity GF, he’d have to go back to the clubs and pap hang outs, wouldn’t he? Gone are the days when all his PR and publicity were rolling out like a thunderstorm, with one film and magazine interview after another, and regular publicity studio photo shoots in between.
Bloom relied too heavily on PR, publicity, fakery and schmoozing instead of on REAL acting ability and talent and skill. Sadly, this is the end result, along with being less than candid with his fans about a number of things.

There were numerous sightings of him while out and about with Miranda’s father in Brisbane, including a sighting on Tuesday. You never know with weather in Los Angeles. It has been pretty cold whenever I’ve been there. Especially on the beach.
Yeah, it’s been in the low sixties in the mornings, so a light jacket would come in handy. But the pics are labeled by Bruno Press as being on a beach in Sydney, they not labeled by a fansite, so I would have to say that they were taken in Aus, not LA.
A for 169, the lady is smiling at Orlando, most of the time, is that what you meant by a “strange look”? Based upon these pics, I would say that she is enjoying their conversation.
Does it really matter where they were taken? We enjoy his funny movements and conclude that Sidi is running around somewhere nearby, haters scream set up! and set any other celebrity who’s been papped in similar or exact circumstances two days ago as an example of class and privacy, and the world keeps turning.

If there in Sydney he wouldn’t have Sidi with him as Australia has very strict Quarantine laws and the dog would have to be in Quarantine for a minimum of a month, that is why Miranda never brings her dog Frankie to Australia. They could be walking a friends or family members dog, or

But that IS Sidi’s leash, and I can’t see him wearing that leash if Sidi wasn’t there. But who knows? And maybe Sidi was staying with friends in Sydney or with her parents in Brisbane, while he and Miranda were in Broome. But as I said, who knows? But I do know that the leash belongs to Sidi. Sidi has a ‘Pet Passport’ chip. He wouldn’t need to be quarantined, as long as he hadn’t spent any recent time in a third world country, and had a vet clearance.

I know they could always print a retraction, if this was a regular article in the newspaper or even in a magazine. But how often do they print retractions in tabloids.
If they actually printed a retraction for every story they got wrong, their credibility would be so much in question that no one would ever pick them up again. I would hope.
