OlderLeAnn Rimes Takes the High Road
LeAnn Rimes starts out her day with lunch at the Brentwood Country Mart in Calif. on Thursday (June 4).
The 26-year-old country star has been embroiled in a whirlwind of controversy with Lifetime co-star, Eddie Cibrian and his wife, Brandi Glanville.
LeAnn recently commented, “You know what, I’m a classy woman, I’m never ever going to battle anything out in the press. I have respect for everyone that is involved and everyone’s family, including my own. I would never want to hurt my husband or anyone else with more lies dragged out in the press. It is what it is. I can’t control other people but I can control what I say and what I don’t. I refuse to get down on any one else’s level and I’m going to take the high road on everything.”

The wife looks pathetic putting all this on the press. The one that owns her an explication is him no her. When they were seen on that laker game( I think that what the wife was taking about) he seems very happy.
How is she taking the high road when she makes a comment like that?? Hmmm. Sounds like she knows she has been caught and now she has has “no comment”. after making a comment???
affairs happen. they’re complicated. who are you to judge? at least they decided to try and work things out with their own spouses. the one that looks shady is eddie’s wife – get a grip and wake up from your denial and stop trying to bring down leann. it was YOUR husband who cheated on you and you should leave him instead of being so emotionally connected. he’ll do it again. pathetic.
My take is that Eddie and his wife want publicity. Why would any scorned woman, still with her husband, rehash in a national magazine that she was cheated on?
LR comes out looking shady and pathetic. She was the one that made sure that she was spotted at the Lakers game with EC., didn’t she cancel a concert? She was playing the “I’ll make his wife leave him, since he won’t leave his wife” game and it backfired on her. She thought the wife was going to sit back and take it, and learned a lesson. That being LR doesn’t entitle her to whatever she wants.
Notice that when the REAL VICTIM ( Brandi) speaks up, she is labled or branded as a villian (ie- as scorned or the attention seeker).

Probably because Brandi is an attention seeker. She appears to be mentally ill. And I am not a fan of LeeAnn Rimes either.
huh real victim? brandi is just stupid. her husband cheated on her and then she said the other woman’s a stalker. she only victimizes herself by saying stupid sh\t to the press. women whose husbands cheat are no victims. they are victims only if they are in denial and still stay with the cheaters.

Don’t you think Brandi could have handled this in private? Maybe confront LeAnn directly or file a complaint with the police. If they wanted to go the publicity route, why didn’t Eddie speak up? I am ambivalent to LeAnn, but it seems like she is being set up. I think Eddie comes out looking like the biggest jerk of them all.
i guess you never really know how your going to handle something until your in that situation. Right now I think Brandi is just talking out of pain and fear. Leann and Eddie are not speaking up because their guilty as hell. When people are innocent and accused wrongly they want everyone to know they are innocent.

Agree with both of you Brandi is just hurting and feeling humiliated but yes, I agree going to the press is not a good idea, we don’t know how we would react if we had the same problem. But I don’t think Brandi is doing this for the fame, she is getting slated now and we do a lot of stupid things when we are hurting. Leann and Eddie are to blame for this fiasco not Brandi, she is trying to hold her family together, but Eddie is not worth it.
