True Blood hunk Ryan Kwanten takes the June 2009 cover of Muscle & Body Mag. Here’s what the 32-year-old Aussie actor had to say:
On the vampire craze taking over the world: “It amazes me when people compare True Blood to Twilight. The only similarity is the fact that we both have vampires. The characters and different group dynamics that Alan manages to create and the issues that he confronts are so far beyond other vampire shows.”
On being a Vinyasa yoga practitioner after four years: “I come from a somewhat of a macho background when it comes to sports. When a friend of mine suggested I try yoga to help with flexibility, I said, ‘No, that’s more for the girls. It’s not my cup of tea.’ But I tried it and it beat me up. That first [yoga] class I was looking across the room and seeing girls and even guys putting their feet behind their heads, and I thought, Wow, that’s where I want to be. And I’m sort of naturally competitive, so once I sink my teeth into something I’m not going to let go.”

Zac Efron was also on that show. He was 12 year old Nikki’s boyfriend, gap toothed and all !
Last night took a turn for the better for True Blood. It is straying form the books, which is a smart move and getting darker and more edgy – way to go Allan Ball!!!!
The first episode of the second season was awesome.
I loved the moment when you see eric dying his hair xD
what is he talkign about! maybe he should read twilight before he sys he doesnt see any similarities. They are both about a vampire who falls in love with a human girl, the one of them always can read minds (in twilight its edward and in true blood its sookie) and they have a connection because of the inability of the one to read the others mind. They both also have a shape-shifter character who is also in love with the girl. The stories around the main plot are different, and yea true blood is more complex because its for adults, and i am so for Charlaine Harris to get all the credit vs. Stephanie Mayer since her books came out FIRST. anyways love true blood its sexy as hell :)
MY gf loves the books and hates that theshow is straying so far from them. I like to see Anna topless so all good for me!
Loved the show last night…good step going away from the books. I liked the books but they are all Sookie, Sookie,.. so the show has to develop differently because they are many more interesting characters.
Loved it. The show had some funny moments with Eric highlighting his hair and Bill recycling his bottles, among others. Glad to see LaFayette is alive, albeit not so well. I hope Jason will revert back to his horndog self at some point. I love RK, but I am starting to crush hard on Alexander Skarsgard. We need some posts on him, Jared!

I never read the books, but if they were all Sookie, I am glad they are straying. I completely agree with you, almost ever other character is more interesting that she is.
