Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick embraces timeless style and construction while modeling fall’s latest fashion in the July 2009 issue of GQ magazine.
“Villain is such a harsh word,” when the 21-year-old British actor describes his love-him-or-hate-him character Chuck Bass in The CW series.
In the mag, Ed is aptly described as “Jude Law crossed with a pre-psychotropic-meltdown Joaquin Phoenix.”

Wow, GQ are working with models shorter than normal…hey, how is he getting all these kudos…Give Zac Efron a fashion spread…he can model suits, he looks great in them, just don’t give him that Johnny Rocket hair style though.
Oh, where are my manners….Ed looks a bit uncomfortable here. The head lean achey looks like his best shot…on slight profile no doubt…I bet he’s an aries. His brood looks more angry than sexy….

@Just Jared: Yeah, I had mentioned to not give Zac that crazy astro boy like hairstyle…he looks great in suits and I don’t think anyone gives him a serious cover or look…everyone wants to take him out of character and make him look more cartoon characterish…it’s not fair.

lets keep zac efron in the teen mags…please. zac’s not a “gq” cover guy, he’s a pre-pubesent boy who desperately wishes he wasn’t. he needs to grow up a bit before he becomes believable “gq” material. and no, a “edge” roll wont do it for him.

@emma: Zac and Ed are the exact same age, 21. So if Zac is some how prepubescent wouldn’t Ed be too? Zac may still look younger, or have more baby-like features but I assure you he has reached puberty.
