Looks like the leaked photo from November was definitely a real one!
Below is Burton‘s wife, Helena Bonham Carter, with a digitally enhanced swelled head to play the domineering Red Queen, who likes nothing better than to scream “Off with their heads!” Thanks, USA Today!

Finally, an adaptation of Alice in Wonderland that is as demented and twisted and Lewis Carroll probably meant for it to be. I’m so excited!
Love Depp !! He is so different in every role he does. From a pirate to this? This is an actor true to his craft. He becomes whom ever he needs to be.
I agree with #4! I can’t wait to see it. Although- I think Johnny looks a little bit like Elijah Wood in this picture. Weird. Doesn’t matter- Johnny can do no wrong.
Tim Burton + Johnny Depp are a movie match made in heaven. This will be a much darker Alice in Wonderland, as it should be!
