Robert Pattinson gets highly expressive on the set of his new film, Remember Me, shooting on location in Manhattan, New York City on Monday (June 22).
The 23-year-old London-born rising actor just wrapped some filming for the Twilight sequel, New Moon, and is now onto other things!
Last week, Rob had a smooching scene with co-star Emilie De Ravin in New York City.

@ginger: Well he did run into traffic to get away from the teen girls. And when he does interviews he says he’s still freaked out when people start yelling for him. I’m sure it’s a shock to him and still new. Takes a lot of strength of character to adjust to millions of people screaming at you I am sure. He said he could feel the energy coming at him from all those people and it was overwhelming him. I could see how a person would feel that way.

I feel bad for this guy. Everybody wants him to be Edward Cullen. He’s a 23 year old guy trying to make a living as an ACTOR. If people can’t accept Twilight as just as part of his career (instead of the whole thing), he’s in trouble. He’s got some talent … I just hope he gets to develop it and doesn’t go down as just a pretty face.
Im so relieve he’s ok after that taxi hit. Cant wait for New Moon and he still has the best UST with Stewart.

I agree totally with you. And he does too! He even said one day people were calling him Cedric (for Harry Potter) and the next day Edward. It must be kind of frightening to suddenly plunge into so much teenage angst and love! Reminds me of the Beatles. They were pursued out the wazoo by women who wanted a piece of them. Poor Rob.

Yeah, it’s got to be scary. He can’t base his whole career on one character, not if he’s really interested in the creative side of acting. He seems to be willing to try more “out there” roles. Johnny Depp is a great Jack Sparrow, but that’s not all he does. I’m hoping Rob gets the same opportunities.
