Wil.i.am and Fergie hold hands as they arrive with the rest of their Black Eyed Peas band mates at Paris Menswear Fashion Week’s Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2010 show at Le 104 on Thursday (June 25).
Below is a video of Fergie‘s husband Josh Duhamel on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. When Jimmy jokingly asked Josh about his wife beating up gossip blogger Perez Hilton, Josh commented, “She’s a regular badass, my wife.”
While he was kidding about his wife beating anyone up, his serious comment regarding the altercation between Perez Hilton and will.i.am, which resulted in the band’s manager punching Perez in the face, was, “I try not to get into it especially now because I don’t think he deserves that much—he’s got more press than he deserves from this whole thing.”
Josh also stated that Perez got what he deserved: “He goes a little below the belt…and when you poke somebody in the chest enough and when you call them enough names, I think it’s good to get your nose bloody.”
Kimmel teased that Josh should have been the one to punch Perez. Josh‘s response: “I kind of wish it was me!”

Man, Duhamel has no personality AT ALL. He kept stuttering and tripping over his tongue trying to be funny and no one really laughed.

Not on Perez’ side, no one’s side really, but Perez is not the only one who makes a living making fun of stars. Jay Leno is one of the biggest.

I think the stupid thing is people not realizing that if Perez goes to court of this punch, HE WOULD WIN, WHY?
Because violence always trumps words, so if they don’t want a case, SHUT UP about what he deserves and focus on not getting sued for assault if they don’t stop attogizing the situation that the BEP are at fault for.

How are the BEP’s responsible for Perez’s beat down. None of them hit him. They only used WORDS, which by your reasoning is not a culpable offense. The ONLY person being sued is the one who is alleged to have hit him, which is their Manager.
Well, Perez might want to consider that this happened in CANADA and their laws would apply. What Perez engaged in with Will.i.am might be considered HATE speech based on sexual orientation. Here is what Canadian Law has to say about that:

Although Perez CLAIMS to be Gay ( maybe no other group wanted to claim him), he did make the slur in order to INCITE ( his video proves that) and the evidence is that those around him were incited to violence and he WAS in a public place. Boy, got popped lol. That Canadian law most likely will refer to INDIVIDUALS as well. So while you are defending Perez, think ( I’m doubting your mental capacity to do so) would you just sit idly by while he insulted your mother or sister or brother???? If you’re a big cry baby wuss like him, you probably would.
He may win the assault case, no one knows the WHOLE truth. I certainly don’t trust Perez to have been fully truthful. If he wins, it will be a hollow victory. He has lost in the court of public opinion and may have lost Sponsors and access to his ‘celebrity friends’ . Who the heck wants to be around him now? H*ell, I don’t know why anyone wanted to be around that waste of space in the first place.

Perez won’t win in Canada, and even if he did, he promises to give any money won to the Matthew Shepherd Foundation. Problem is they’ve responded that they won’t accept any money from Perez based on his hate speech. Haha.
