OlderDaniel Radcliffe Parades With Older Women
Daniel Radcliffe‘s tie flies away on the latest cover of Parade magazine. Here’s what the 19-year-old British actor shared about:
On going for older women: “Girls my own age are not really an option. I find, generally speaking, they have to be entertained more than older girls do. So most of the girls I have had serious things with are generally sort of in their 20s.”
On turning 20 next month: “I’ve noticed I make noises when I get up and sit down now. I mean, my knees are rotten bad—I refused to wear knee pads too many times when I was doing stunts, and I just clobbered them up a bit. I am an old man in a young man’s body.”
Where Harry leaves off and Daniel begins: “When I started out at the age of 10 or 11, I was essentially saying the lines as I myself would say them. When I became aware that that’s what I was doing, at 13 or 14, it didn’t make sense to change, because it would suddenly be a dramatic shift in the character.”
On shocking audiences with a nude love scene on Broadway: “As soon as we started doing the show, people went, ‘Oh! So this is not pornography—this is a play,’ It was mainly hyped beforehand. I didn’t set out to shock people. I set out to do something different from Potter. If I had wanted to shock people I would have played, you know, a gay drug dealer.”

I think people should let people love whomever they want to……I mean, I am a girl and I actually love older men! So why would guy be forbidden to love older women? That’s as unfair as the double statement in society that makes women appear inferior, that men can do whatever they want and be hoes when women can’t. You get it. I don’t find Daniel attractive but he was very cute in the first Harry Potter and the third one. I’m loking forward to seeing the new one coming out though…..I love Harry Potter :p… Although I think Rupert Grint is oddly hotter. :D Anyway, let him live HIS life and mind your own damn business people…..

I don’t know about boys or older women but he has been dating trannies recently. You know boy-girls. Maybe he can’t make up his mind. By the way, how can people be
“sort of in their 20s?” Either you are in your 20s or you are not. He was adorably charming when a kid, diffident and super polite. Now that’s he’s a real grown up movie star he seems, in interviews, to be nice but not particularly charming. Just another actor, but perhaps a bit nicer than most.
In the interview he revealed that he has moved out of his parents’ house and is now in digs of his own. That is worrisome since it means there is no one around to control him and his appetites. We know already that he is addicted, or close to it, to cigarettes. Living under his parents’ watchful eyes has kept him it seem from the druggie culture. And he has been seen tipsy in public only once when he was returning from his 18th birthday bash. But now that he is on his own one wonders what he will do with alcohol and drugs. This bears watching and worrying about.

@ Whortensia: Dan never said anything about being addicted to cigarettes. Get your facts straight, everyone. Yeah he smokes and I am really annoyed with this but we don’t know how much. No one does. Dan lives a very private life and is fortunate to not have the media in his face all the time like too many other young stars. Dan is a very intelligent, smart, hard-working individual and I guarantee you he will not go off the rails now that he has his own place. He always talks about the people around him who are honest and would simply not allow him to ‘get too big for his boots.’
I am a huge fan of Dan, have been since COS and to read this and see this, is just another bittersweet gem that is in Dan becoming a man. I wish him the best of luck and know he will make smart decisions. Dan- you ROCK, more than ANYONE else :D
