OlderJackson Family: No Public Viewing At Neverland
The Jackson family has released a statement regarding the rumors about potential services for Michael Jackson at his Neverland Ranch, north of Santa Barbara, Calif.
The family rep tells JustJared.com, “Contrary to previous news reports, the Jackson family is officially stating that there will be no public or private viewing at Neverland. Plans are underway regarding a public memorial for Michael Jackson, and we will announce those plans shortly.”

These people who are honoring him, did not give a crap about him when he was alive, and made fun of him. . .making him to the person he became, which is sad and horrible. So to me these so called celebs that are saddened by his death, are full of crap themselves. Only the true fans are saddened. I am not fan, but I am sorry he passed, but please I am so sick of hearing about it.
I should think so. It’s not what Michael would have wanted. He was so fiercely private and to put his body on public display would have been a travesty.

mm i think they need to just let this man REST IN PEACE. like i agree with the fact that now he’s died all these people that said bad words about him are now acting as if they are truly saddened by his death. theyre turning it into a charade & tbh it’s quite embarassing. he will be greatly missed & will always be the king of pop

completely agree with what you said.
A funeral should be for his loved ones the people that really knew him. To us he was just an icon, a figure, the king of pop. But his family and his friends truly knew who he was, so i think it’s only appropriate that there would be no public viewing.
ENOUGH of the rumor mill. Maybe the family did say this, but it was never official. Now it is.
Imagine when Elvis died,what it would have been like with 24 hour news and the net.

and I agree with some of you about people who are acting like “omg, Michael you’re king of pop”, etc etc and if he needed help no one wasn’t with him…all these “friends” who are mourning now or even his family. His father is a monster, that’s all I can say.

Well, I can only speak for myself and I`ve always been an M.J. fan – never spoke an ill word toward him. always admired the man and his amazing contributions.
please keep the info. coming as this is for some of us, the only way we can stay informed. It provides a way to mourn, grieve, and heal. so yes, for some of us………………………. the info. and pics. are all we have left of someone who gave so much and whom will be missed greatly forever.

Even though I would want to pay my last respects, I think it would be against his wishes to have a public viewing. What purpose would that serve? It would only make him into a sideshow for everyone. I think the respectful thing to do is let this wonderful magical manchild rest in peace with his family holding a private service.
That is a good decision because people are so crazy blogging about everything that they would probably put pics of MJ in his coffin and make a circus of everything. I am disappointed about MJ, sometimes is best not to know much about people.

I am sure his creepy father- Joe Jackson wanted a viewing at Neverland just to charge admission and rake in the bucks.

Keep it Private! Real fans respect his privacy. We have his legacy and music to hold on to. Let his family do this without the media frenzy! If it were up to the media, MJ would be a traveling circus display like Jesse James. Media tore the man apart while he was alive, allow him his peace once and for all.
The rep is propbably Ken Sunshine. Ken reps Leo Dicaprio among other A listers. Larry King just mentioned that it was him. Only he could bring some kind of order to this madness.
