I agree it wasn’t her best, but it’s the thought that counts.

rest in peace, king of pop.

Eh. Her hands always annoy me when she sings.
but i give her props for singing when clearly you can tell she was
emotional.

Yeah agreed.
As a MC fan I felt sorry 4 her. I think the best performance was Stevie Wonder.

I just watched all of this on tv and it was very sad . i agree not the best performance of her but i loved what brooke and magic johnson had to say but when Paris spoke i broke into tears that was the most memorable thing to me there.

I thought she would have been better – although she did improve nearer the end of the performance. But again, it is the thought that counts – R.I.P Michael Jackson xoxoxox

Oh Mimi.. now that you’re getting older you should stop using that high voice. It cuts too much now.

her voice sounds amazing when she’s singing regularly.

when Michael’s daughter Paris went up and talked, i cried so hard :( Then she leaned on Janet and i cried harder. Those poor kids. I hope they stay with his family, and not Deebe Rowe or whatever

Mariah was very good, not as good as she once was but good enough. I’m just glad Jamie Fox, Beyonce, Jay Z had no part in this tribute cuz they all suck azzzzzzzzzzz.

More than ever, those children need to be with the Jackson family. After seeing Paris speak at the memorial, and the entire Jackson family support her…it’s unthinkable that Debbie Rowe would try to take those children away from the family they’ve been raised with.

I hope those children can stay together and stay with the Jackson family.

That was the worst performance at the memorial service..she could have stayed home..

The memorial service was lovely, Mariah Carey sang beautifully and the entire program was sweet and dignified. At the end, Michael’s daughter was so heart rending that I broke up and it was sad to see those children, who had been so carefully guarded, out and about with their family and missing their father so very much.

Mariah was a big disappointment, but Jermaine, Stevie, Usher, John, Jennifer and This Is It! crew did a great job! MJ would have been proud…may he rest in peace.

Hey Folks! Mariah did OK! It’s Michael Jackson’s memorial – not an MTV video shoot!

My ears are bleeding! Mariah was A.W.F.U.L. If I had $1 for every note she missed I’d be rich. And there is NO excuse for her performance – Jennifer Hudson belted out her song to perfection, Stevie Wonder was more emotional but held it together and sang perfectly, and even that little 12-year-old boy from the UK, Shaheen, sang his little heart out well. Mariah sucked like a hooker.
