After taking a flying lesson and successfully landing, Angelina Jolie disembarks and jumps off the wing of her plane in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon (July 9).
The 34-year-old flew around a Cirrus SR-22 single engine plane while papa Brad Pitt was seen riding his motorcycle. Angie has been taking flying lessons for the past five years. What a fun hobby to learn!

It takes a lot of effort to keep an ageing leather skinned tv girl blond when she has naturally very dark brown locks, and good extensions are expensive bought hair which have to be carefully applied in thinning hair to look natural.
Angie’s natural hair like her late mom’s is so so long. No $50,000 hair for her. Just wash and dry and put in a ponytail. A busy mom’s easiest hairstyle.

I also ride an HD Dyna Low Rider – have for several years. AJ is my role model. A bold life is the only way for me and my husband.

Living up to your name, I see. I read the blogger posts and news articles, plus reader comments at quite a few sites about the Moneyball sitch and not a single one lay the blame at Brad’s feet or said he’d been a PITA. Did you not understand that the e-mail made it clear that Brad hadn’t even signed on to do Moneyball until AFTER Soderbergh came on board and created his vision of the movie? That Amy Pascal KNEW what Soderbergh was planning way back in April? Brad signed on to work with Soderbergh.
So what if he wanted Frankel off the movie? Big whoop. It’s notable only for the X-related hilarity of Brad not wanting to work with anyone who had X’s stench on them. Stars get other actors, producers, directors, etc., thrown of movies all the time. Some actors even use their husband’s clout to do so…like…say your hubby had a friend who hired you for a movie written by a first-time director. And let’s say that director thought the continuity and flow of the story was more important than how his boss’ friend’s actress wife was lit and wasn’t overly concerned that she didn’t come off as peaches-and-cream glowy, softly lit to mute the harshness of her mannish features. Let’s say said “actress wife” calls her hubby while he’s overseas working with his friend who’s producing the actress’ movie and throws a fit and claims this first-time directory who WROTE the words she’s uttering, doesn’t have a clue how to make a movie…plus his lighting is too harsh and she doesn’t look serenely beautiful in the daily rushes…and he needs to speak to his friend the producer and get him to replace the director…who wrote the movie and knows more about it than anyone else on the planet. The producer friend and his partner, who’s also a friend of the husband’s and the director of the movie both are currently working on, agree to HALT the production, pull the director, then spend a number of weeks finding a replacement who can take over in short order, all the while filming their own movie in Europe. The producer finds a replacement, the movie resumes finishing…the actress and the husband part ways 5 months later…the movie comes out and bombs big time…then the actress proceeds to trash the movie and call it “the worst experience” of her life and trashes it multiple interviews – all before the movie goes to DVD, which then caused the DVD sales to be all but non-existent. The produder and his partner lost a boatload of money for their parent studio, but the actress wife felt no remorse and never felt she’d done anything wrong. Surely even you can see how this makes what Brad did as no big thing. Brad has never trashed any of his movies – even the ones that sucked (Meet Joe Black!).

When the Turkey Giblet movie comes out around the same time, maybe there’s a drive-in left in this country that’ll do a Rachel Green Double Feature. The only reason X was invited to the Oscars was that the show had new producers and they were doing anything they could think of to raise ratings. The other problem was that they had asked a bunch of true A-listers and B+ movie stars to be presenters and got turned down. That’s how they ended up with X, Ben Stiller, Portman, etc. One of the people the producer’s asked to present was Angie – she turned them down…and I’m almost positive that’s when they came up with the idea to ask X. And that ho’s so fcuking desperate to be seen as a movie star equal to Brad & Angie that she jumped at the chance to be there. After all, it’s not like she’s ever going to be nommed. Her Fug & Mighty knew she might not ever have another chance to be invited to another Oscars…especially not with the crappy movies she’s making.

Making movies is making a living, she’s not obsessed with her fame or image. She’s intelligent, shrewd even, and has earned the respect of many people, including the likes of Colin Powell and Condy Rice. She was accepted to serve on the council on foreign relations and is taken quite seriously there as well as in the UN. She has heads of state contact her (and she them). Consumers know less about the water they pay dearly for in bottles than what they can drink almost for free from the tap because the two are regulated differently, congressional investigators and nonprofit researchers say in new reports.
Both the Government Accountability Office and the Environmental Working Group, a nonprofit research and advocacy organization, recommend in reports released Wednesday that bottled water be labeled with the same level of information municipal water providers must disclose.
The researchers urged Americans to make bottled water “a distant second choice” to filtered tap water because there isn’t enough information about bottled water. The working group recommends purifying tap water with a commercial filter, however.
Both reports were released at a congressional subcommittee Wednesday morning.
Bottled water — an industry worth about $16 billion in sales last year — has been suffering lately as colleges, communities and some governments take measures to limit or ban its consumption. As employers, they are motivated by cost savings and environmental concern because the bottles often are not recycled.
Bottled water sales were growing by double-digit percentages for years and were helping buoy the U.S. beverage industry overall. But they were flat last year, according to trade publication Beverage Digest.
Beverage Digest editor John Sicher said some consumers are turning on the tap during the recession simply because it’s cheaper.
From 1997 to 2007, the amount of bottled water consumed per person in the U.S. more than doubled, from 13.4 gallons to 29.3 gallons, the GAO report said.
The issue before a subcommittee of the Energy and Commerce Committee was less about waste and water quality concerns and more about the mechanics of regulating bottled water.
As a food product, bottled water is regulated by the Food and Drug Administration and required to show nutrition information and ingredients on its labels. Municipal water is under the control of the Environmental Protection Agency.
The two agencies have similar standards for water quality, but the FDA has less authority to enforce them, the GAO said, and the environmental agency requires much more testing.
Subcommittee chairman Rep. Bart Stupak, D-Mich., said the subcommittee was requesting information Wednesday from a dozen bottled water companies on their water sources, treatment methods and two years’ results of contaminant testing. It was not immediately clear which companies were being contacted.
“Consumers may not realize that many regulations that apply to municipalities responsible for tap water do not apply to companies that produce bottled water,” he said in statements opening the hearing.
The GAO noted the FDA has yet to set standards for DEHP, one of several chemicals known as phthalates that are found in many household products, while the EPA limits the presence of phthalates in tap water.
In a survey of officials in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, the GAO found they think consumers are misinformed about bottled water.
“Many replied that consumers often believe that bottled water is safer or healthier than tap water,” according to the GAO report.
The Washington, D.C.-based Environmental Working Group said in its report that consumers do not get enough information to determine which water is best for them.
Both groups said some bottled water brands include the same information required of tap water providers on either labels or company Web sites.
The GAO called for more research but said the FDA should start by requiring that bottled water labels tell consumers where to find out more.
Community water systems must distribute annual reports about their water’s source, contaminants and possible health concerns.
Consumers should know where all their water comes from, how it is treated and what is found in it, said Richard Wiles, senior vice president for policy and communications for the Environmental Working Group.
“If the municipal tap water systems can tell their customers this information, you would think that bottled water companies that charge 1,000 times more for this water could also let consumers know the same thing,” he told The Associated Press.
The bottled water industry’s trade group, the International Bottled Water Association, planned to testify Wednesday that the product, — subject to the same regulation as other soft drinks, teas, juices and other beverages — is safe. Additional standards apply for bottled water products labeled as “purified water” or “spring water,” among other labels, because they must prove a connection to those sources, according to planned testimony from Joseph Doss, president and chief executive of the International Bottled Water Association.
Doss said consumers can learn about bottled water by contacting the company, reading its Web site and visiting sites run by state governments.
State safeguards for bottled water often exceed the federal, though they are less stringent than for tap water, the GAO wrote.
The trade group declined to comment on the reports before they are released.

Jaws dropped last month when Sony Pictures canceled the $50-million Brad Pitt movie Moneyball only days before it was scheduled to start shooting – but now, apparently, the studio is working to shut those mouths.
The West Wing writer and creator Aaron Sorkin has been brought in to do a quick re-write on a script that Sony had ultimately deemed too arty and documentary-like in approach, reports The New York Times.
The studio also hopes to add Oscar-winning producer Scott Rudin (There Will Be Blood, No Country for Old Men) to the movie’s creative team.
Based on Michael Lewis’s nonfiction book about the Oakland Athletics and their general manager Billy Beane – who assembled a star Major League team despite a lack of a major bank account – the movie’s original script was by Ocean’s series director Steven Soderbergh (who was to have directed Moneyball) and screenwriter Steven Zaillian.
According to The Times, should Sorkin finish his script in due course, a new director will be hired, Pitt will stay involved and Moneyball will start to roll this fall.

It hard to say it is doomed. Actually The movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith has gone through a lot of troubles before it started. In the beginning, it couldn’t find funding, every studio passed it at least once some twice. then Summit decided to fund it. Initially Brad wasn’t willing to star in it, Doug Liman convinced Brad to sign on and Nicole Kidman as Mrs Smith. When Nicole dropped out due to schedule conflict, Brad wanted to drop out. Then came Angelina as Mrs. Smith and finally started shooting the movie. The movie was a worldwide hit.

Almost a month in L.A , and all the outings have been of her with or without kids and of Brad on his bike in L.A. Not even a date night. Don’t you find it strange. Last year in France , in almost all of the outings they both would go as a couple with or without afew of their kids.

Brad and Angie might have not gone to date nights alot in past but they would go to family outings alot more than this.

There have never been any family outings in LA. The only family outing was the sking trip and they were protected from the paps on that occasion.
Most family pics that we saw were from their home in Malibu and Santa Barbara and with the Los Feliz home renovations probably finished I doubt there be any pics of them bicycling, swimming or playing games.
The family outing in NY city was a trip to the art store when they first get to the city. This spring the family did go to a broadway show when they first got to NY .
Most family outings are in other places than NY or LA where there are a small amt of paps and they are much more polite. .
While in Berlin there were reports of the whole family (don’t know about the twins) being seen at indoor parks.
I see one airbus 797 piloting a Cirrus SR-22 but, most important, Angelina is happy! Keep that way, Angie!

LOS ANGELES — Sony Pictures Entertainment has quietly moved to salvage its troubled movie project “Moneyball” by hiring the prominent screenwriter Aaron Sorkin for a quick rewrite, while looking to add Scott Rudin, known for his turns on the Oscar circuit, to the film’s roster of producers.
Last month, Sony executives canceled the baseball picture — which was set to star Brad Pitt, who remains involved — just days before production, citing dissatisfaction with a rewrite from its director, Steven Soderbergh.
Mr. Soderbergh and his associates were allowed to offer the film to other studios. But Paramount and Warner turned it down, and Mr. Soderbergh left the project.
The film’s sudden collapse raised questions about Hollywood’s ability to tackle complex fare in the face of weak industry economics. Based on a nonfiction book by Michael Lewis, “Moneyball” tells the story of the Oakland A’s general manager Billy Beane and his statistical approach to baseball.
Representatives for Sony, Mr. Sorkin and Mr. Rudin all declined to comment on the new configuration. But several people who were briefed on the situation and spoke on condition of anonymity to protect relationships said Mr. Sorkin was revising a version of the script that had been written by Steven Zaillian, who had worked with Mr. Soderbergh.
Studio executives had suddenly declared Mr. Soderbergh’s draft too arty and documentary in style, though he had worked with them in developing his version, and had included changes requested by Major League Baseball, which examines scripts for authenticity before granting permission to use its trademarks.
It was unclear whether Mr. Rudin, who was a producer of “No Country for Old Men,” which won the best-picture Oscar in 2008, would be credited as a producer or executive producer of “Moneyball.” He joins Michael De Luca and Rachael Horovitz, who remain producers of the movie.
Mr. Sorkin, perhaps best known as a writer and producer of “The West Wing,” has been working with both Mr. Rudin and Mr. De Luca on “The Social Network” — a comic drama that has been loosely tagged “The Facebook Movie.” If Mr. Sorkin finishes his work on “Moneyball” quickly, Sony executives are hoping to recruit a new director and shoot the film, with Mr. Pitt still in the lead, in the fall of this year, people briefed on the project said.

AJ got her UK license while she was living in the UK. She also has a license in the United States. AJ is not an idle whiny celebrity. She uses her time to raise her kids, be a partner, learn about foreign affairs and the International criminal court system, perform her UN duties, advocate for Refugees and children and be a kick ass actress.. Lard face alias Baby Jane, PR guy put out a press release because ole girl wanted an extra day off her latest rom com crapfest(had to tighten up the weave) and shut down production. OMG what a great adventure for those beautiful girls. I have a little one who is fascinated with air planes, he explains all the types of engines as we watch them fly above us. The best is trips to Europe. Angelina Jolie is such a great mom and teaching the kids not to fear heights and how to fly is awesome for their family.
