Newly married Channing Tatum takes the August 2009 cover of GQ magazine lookin’ hot hot hot. Check out what the 29-year-old actor, who married his Step Up co-star Jenna Dewan on Saturday, had to say:
On his Uncle Bruce’s 300-acre ranch in Wetumpka (33 miles northeast of Montgomery, Alabama): “[It's my] favorite place on the planet, by far. ‘Cause it’s real, you know?”
On how he fell into Hollywood: “I got crazy lucky. Like, sometimes I think I won the lottery or something. At times it feels like the bottom’s gonna fall out. Just ’cause I don’t really know how I got here. But I just keep moving forward, and it just keeps getting better and better.”
On his movies Step Up and Coach Carter: “[They're called] tweeners—you know, those midlevel-budget movies that just kinda do good.”
On G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, out August 7: “This is, like, my first step out into the whole commercial realm. I hope it does okay.”
On being proud of his presidential pick in Alabama, which is largely Republican: “I don’t care. If they don’t like me because I voted for Obama, then f— them. I like horses and I like Obama. Nothin’ wrong with hat.”

What the hell is going on in hollywood.. When did a great body and face take the place of TALENT.. come on people. I can’t name many male or female Stars that have more going for them then a face and a body.. Look at the movies released this year.. Most of them are just CRAP… popcorn.. fluff..
the Oscars are adding 5 more movies to their list to make 10 best films.. I think they are going to have a hard time getting 10.. So sick of women posing near naked and men taking off their shirts like it is a screen test..

I know what you mean. All the “hot” actors and actresses right now don’t “act” very well. It seems like pretty faces, nice bodies and gossip grabbing are what is considered “talent’ now. How sad. No offense to C.T. he is very good looking and I would think his abs are real becuase of the work for the G.I. Joe movie.

Well if you have seen pics of him from recently..no hes not flabby at all..matter of fact check out his wedding photos, rehearsal photos etc..hes no where near being flabby, hes just as thin as these new GQ pics. That is his real body.

This whole Obama-talk simply is annyoing for alot of reasons—–first and foremost, he comes across as a mediwhore rather than a president.
He talks and looks like an idiot (he always reminds me of a monkey, not being discriminatory, he just looks like it)- but hey, Bush actually was a true idiot (though, he at least had some comedy potential to make up for it).
Alot of people only seemed to have voted for him simply because of his skincolour. To show just how revolutionary they are—especially after an office-holder like Bush.
Actors and singers these days use him as an fashion statement. And that´s what´really getting on my nerves.

I simply comment on it as I would on every annoying actor and singer there is.
Obama, and all those idiots who use him to polish their image, simply get on my nerves.
He’s human just like anyone else and may gain weight from time to time. When he was looking a bit thicker, I recall him jogging. So I’m sure he’s probably fit again. Love him because he’s so human and looking hot in the pics!

lol channing. he’s a great dude. i have to argue with his use of the word commercial though, because lots of people know gi joe and will go to see this film. maybe what he means is that the other films he’s in are catered to a certain age group that has a huge marketabilty potential, which is the same sort of thing you can say about comic book fans…even if it is niche. also he always says the same thing when he’s interviewed or not because i already knew that was the answer to most of those questions. dude is 100 a straight up dude and nothing fake about his demeanor. yay channing.
