Really – there is a market for Whitney? I am pretty skeptical on this one.

Yay Whitney Houston!!!! She’s about my favorite singer of all time. I can’t wait for her music. She has the master Clive Davis backing her. She can’t go wrong. He understands what a jewel she always was. So glad she’s finally rid of her ex and on the road she was born to be on.

  • No wonder you’re single

whitney minus bobby seems to be the recipe for her success!

  • Rochelle

If she has good songs, people will take to her again.

@Ilia….there will always be a market for true TALENT, something that is sorely missed on the radio, what with Miley Cyrus and all these other hacks. Whitney… go girl!

  • CMArie

I am listening to her song right now and this does NOT sound like the Whitney Houston that i remember…her voice is not the same…so sad because she had talent

  • whome

Whitney never REALLY left — once you become a diva, you never die…
She sounds in good voice, maybe not quite the same but…
I wish the absolute best for her and will buy the album even just as a general support gesture.

    Go Whitney!

  • Chris

She’s not a diva, she’s a drug addict with no voice.

  • Not impressed by JA

Ilia @ 07/28/2009 at 1:18 pm Really – there is a market for Whitney? I am pretty skeptical on this one.
She had a huge fan base, most of them who have grown with her, so i am not skeptical. She has talent so she should do decent because people expect to find at least a bit of her old self.
On the otherhand, i am nothing to fear about SADE’s successful come back. the lady has a unique mark in the music industry and keep on coming every decade smashing the sh*t like it’s nobody’s business.
I am personnally more interested in Sade’s new album to come. there is no way it will fail. She is just one in a million and millions will buy her stuff without even listenning to the new stuff She is guarante 100 % quality.

her voice is not the same anymore…not even close…. and the lead single, quite mediocre…sigh…I was her huge fan.
