Mischa Barton poses for the Arizona Beverages & Music Unites All Points West celebration at The Cooper Square Hotel on Sunday (August 2) in New York City.
The 23-year-old actress was in good spirits, dancing to her pal Daisy Lowe’s DJ set for almost two hours.
Mischa recently told OK! at the event that, “I’m feeling great! I’m really happy.” She added that filming on her new CW show, The Beautiful Life is, “going really well… I’m excited.”
Just weeks ago, Los Angeles Police removed Mischa from her West Hollywood home because of a “medical issue.”

Former THE O.C. star MISCHA BARTON has laughed off her party girl persona, insisting she prefers to stay at home with a good book over a wild night out. The 21-year-old actress and model explains that her life bears little resemblance to the glitz and glamour the public expect. She says, “I know I look the part and people used to come up to me in the street and talk to me as if I was a crazy party girl. “But I don’t go out clubbing because that whole scene is too claustrophobic. And Barton is keen to point out she’s not like her Hollywood contemporaries such as PARIS HILTON. She explains, “I’m always being associated with the other girls, but we’re not in the same crowd and it seems strange that just because we’re all young actresses, people should lump us together. “I have only met Paris once, and that was in passing. That said, it’s true that I am friendly with NICOLE RICHIE, and I also know her father LIONEL. But you know people see young celebrities at the same parties and assume that we all know each other. “I actually spend my evenings with a good book. DOSTOEVSKY and JOHN STEINBECK are my favourite authors and I’m currently reading PAULO COELHO’s THE ALCHEMIST.”
Don’t like her, never did, never will. She gives english girls, most of whom can read, don’t do drugs and don’t end up in the nuthouse, a bad name. Wish to god she would change her nationality and go away, pref back to nuthouse, and leave ppl the f*** alone.

what the hell is she doing out at a party? she got locked up in a pysch ward for 2 weeks! something very serious must have been going on because usually they release you within 72 hours if you appear stable. this is not normal behavior, whether it was drugs or pyschological issues, she needs to regain a normal structure and rest!
The hospital let her out too soon.
