OlderFall Into Penelope Cruz's Broken Embrace
Penelope Cruz attends the photocall for her latest movie, Los Abrazos Rotos (Broken Embrace), held at the Hotel de Rome on Monday (August 3) in Berlin, Germany.
The drama thriller is the story of a doomed love affair between Mateo, a former film director turned screenwriter, and Lena (Cruz), a would-be actress and the mistress of millionaire Ernesto Martel.
Broken Embrace opens in the states later this year.

Why does she always wears tons of dark makeup? i’ve always found her face looking like a mix of a horse face with a bird face, she definitley has a bird nose.

I think she is an amazing actress. She is beautiful in still photos but her beauty really shows to advantage when she is animated and moving. When she is onscreen you can’t take your eyes off her. I loved her in VC Barcelona. That film was fantastic. She and Javier were so good in it. Only problem, they made ScarJo and the other american girl look like amateurs. How much better the film would have been if they’d used two girls who could act. Both of them were just so wooden next to the fiery Spaniards.
Hope they are pregnant. It sure looks like it with the baggy clothes. And she quit smoking. No one puts themselves through that without good reason.
