OlderEmmy Rossum Divorces Secret Husband
Newly single Emmy Rossum is white hot in Carolina Herrera at Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s installation luncheon held at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Monday (August 11) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The 22-year-old actress was secretly married to music exec Justin Siegel but word broke out last week that the couple would be filing for divorce. The Los Angeles County Registrar Recorder’s Office confirms to E! News that a confidential marriage license was issued in Los Angeles County to Emmanuelle Grey Rossum and Justin Siegel, who paired up in 2007. Because the couple paid for the license to be confidential, the wedding date could not be confirmed.
FYI: Emmy is wearing Jimmy Choo‘s “Seattle” platform sandal.

Wow I cannot believe this. I didn’t even know they were dating to be honest. I’m the same age as her, and I cannot imagine myself being married right now, maybe within the next 5 years.

Wow I can’t believe it. I’ve loved her a lot since “the day after tomorrow”…..she’s so beautiful. But she’s always seemed so shy and introverted but quite bubbly at the same time. She’s just talented and gorgeous, that’s why I like her. She’s so young though and I never thought it was possible for someone in Hollywood to get married and divorce without everybody to know it. Well, I guess it’s true since it all came out lol….But wow, I’m amazed. How can a so-called “confidential” license get so…..public?? HA. You’re kiddin’ me, alright?!

Paid money for the marriage license to be confidential? I thought this was all a matter of public record. Is the LA county registrar taking bribes? Why is there a set of standards for ‘hollywood celebrities’ and a set of standards for people like us?
