Celine Dion is pregnant with her second child!
Francine Challoux, the couple’s Quebec publicist, tells ET Canada, “They are crazy in love over the news.”
The 41-year-old Canadian singer and her husband, René Angélil, 67, conceived with the help of a team of fertility doctors in New York. The couple already has a son, René-Charles, 8.
Adds Challoux, “Rene starts his first day of private school today. They are overjoyed.”
Celine‘s official site hasn’t confirmed the news yet but says, “If you hear a rumour, it will be confirmed here first. This is the only spot on the Internet where you’ll get the official Céline word!”

oh cmon some people become parents in their teens n then their kids become parents when they’re teens… Anyway it may be a bit of a stretch but there are quite a few people who become grandparents when they hit 40!

Oh that’s wonderful news!! For the last how long she’s said numerous times she wishes to have another baby and was using IVF. Congrats to them!

Secondly congrats to Celine, I cried when I found out. I wish her all the health and happiness during her pregnancy.
Hope she has a girl…she is so emotionally grounded, she comes across as a good person with a great family…better this one having tons of kids than the psycho knife HERMAPRODITE snatching chick..who needs a MEAL!
So happy!!! I just did IVF after many years of struggling so I can say I’m extra happy for her, and even though I’m not a fan of hers, I respect that she at least admits to using IVF and isnt ashamed about it, unlike so many other celebs
My question is why keep the embryo frozen for nine years? She had the two embryos fertilized nine years ago, when her husband had testicular cancer. So the kids are twins but not twins.
She has been talking about this frozen enbryo for eight years, on every interview she did. That as soon as she was finished her Vegas gig she was going to have it implanted? She finished that gig about two years ago. When I didn’t see a pregnanacy, I thought she had changed her mind or had a miscarriage. I thought she had given up on the idea. Well at least she didn’t have it destroyed.
But why wait so long? Why not have it earlier and give Renee more time with the kid? Who knows how many years he has left? For that matter, she herself may not have too many years left. It sure is great when you have the money to play God.

Their life. Thier choice. By all reports they are loving, caring parents and isnt that all that counts in the end? I wish them the best. At least they we know they dont use their kids for profit.
