Vera Wang Hits Sesame Street With Oscar de la Renta

In celebration of the 40th anniversary of Sesame Street, fashion designers Vera Wang and Oscar de la Renta visit their furry friends on the coolest street in town.

In the September 2009 issue of Harper’s Bazaar, Oscar the Grouch gets a visit from another Oscar, Mr. de la Renta. And Abby Cadabby drops in on Vera Wang at a laundromat. Both designers posed next to models decked in their signature lines.

Cute photo shoot. Also can’t wait to see Sesame Street‘s parody of Mad Men!

Love Sesame Street :) Vera has awesome hair. I don’t know of many in high fashion that sport that long of hair. She’s unique.

I LOVE when famous people visit Sesame street, although its been some time since my kids have watched it. The Goo-goo Dolls and Dr. Phil are my favs. You can google them. Very funny.

When are they going to start using beautiful models again instead of models with such an odd look? I think beauty sells better. The black and white gown is lovely. The brown dress not so hot. The fashion business can be wierd when it comes to selecting models.
