Check out the all-new trailer for Avatar, the upcoming 3-D sci-fi film directed by James Cameron (Titanic, Terminator 2: Judgment Day).
The cast includes lots and lots of blue creatures and real-life actors Sam Worthington (Terminator Salvation), Zoe Saldana (Star Trek), Michelle Rodriguez (Lost), Sigourney Weaver (Aliens) and Stephen Lang (Public Enemies).

So this has nothing to do with the cartoon Avatar the Last Air bender. Sucks I thought this was going to be that Avatar.

this is probably the avatar last airbender one that you’re thinking of. it’s being directed by nightatmountshamalan guy.
this james cameron version is not the same one you’re thinking about and if you followed news of any kind you would know the whole debacle with same name rights, rights to storylines, distinction between the two projects, the studios, release dates etc
these two avatar films shouldn’t be confused with the other. i may not like the storyline for this avatar film, butttttt i’m all about the tech so that’s why i want to see this. have some friends who were involved in this film and am sooooo excited for them. geez. kinda jealous.
After all that hype …. I’m not impressed.
I was expecting it to look better. The cgi still looks stiff.
I’m confused. What is this movie about? Trailers nowadays don’t seem to salll much but BIG BIG BIG w/out storyline.
yeah and even though i am still excited…because i can’t afford not to be or else i would be hugely bummed…this trailor and stills is not doing it for me. it’s not grounded enough. meh. hopefully i can see a little more of this before it comes out. i don’t want to be heavily invested in something.
i mean i’ve been waiting a long time for where the wild things are and that movies trailors haven’t disappointed me one bit. ‘m diappointed with prince of persia though and really anticipating alice. so many good movies coming out.

What a waste of talent in this movie. James Cameron needs to retire. I thought this would be good but it looks like cartoon crap. See District 9 for reference on how to make a good movie. I will not see this movie until it’s on the CW
