I saw it, it was AMAZING.
It’s the first time I’ve seen this show and I’m definately gonna keep watching it till the end. And I also love “Model of the Runway”, a great add to the whole “Project” (pun intended)

With Nicole Kidman on the show its definitely has to be an impressive
she looked great with red hair but wandering who’s the one who will wear the dress.

loved how Lindsay Lohan had to kick off a girl that looked like her girlfriend

Love Project Runway! That girl who got kicked off TOTALLY looked like Samantha Ronson. So far I don’t think any of these contestants are that great. None of them seemed particularly “high fashion,” but we’ll see. It was a red carpet challenge and most of those clothes didn’t look red carpet AT ALL.

I only watched to see Nicole Kidman. She was so gorgeous and uplifting. Her red hair is fabulous!

Why was Lindsay Lohan on it? Is she popular in America?

Korto was a total sour puss and bad sport about not winning the challenge. She is full of herself, and I was glad she didn’t win. She needs to learn you catch a whole lot more flies with honey than vinegar.

Daniel V is a much better designer, but I wasn’t crazy about anything he did ladt night. He is usually much more elegant.

And Santino and “Mycheal” as he is calling himself now, both need to go away and never come back.

Personally, I would have loved to see Jillian or Kara Saun back intstead of those two.

Sweet Pea, who seems to question herself and get lost too much, shouldn’t have been there either.

Nicole K didn’t impress at all. Anyone can tape a segment and play it back. Big whoop.

About the new season, I like that 50′s retro girl with the pageboy hair, the girl from Charleston SC, the lady from Eastern Europe, and the guy with the short corn rows, Ra,mon, I think he name is. The guy from Savannah is a goner and so is that red-headed guy with the stringy hair parted in the middle.

I didn’t think I would like the model show, but I see they have the part with the designers choosing their models built in to that show, so I do think that is smart on the producers part. It will get people to tune in to see a little bit more, and it will leave more room in the show to focus on designers.

Yes, I will be Project Runway’s btich once again. I have been watching since season 1.

It was surprisingly good. All the buzz was bad but the show apparently hasn’t missed a beat since switching networks and production companies.

And to the commenter who tuned in for Nic Kidman’s tired thirty-second videotaped (!) cameo: really?

I’m rooting for Mitch for SCAD pride, and b/c he got screwed over by his model and I’d hate for him to become bitter if that dishonesty ruined his shot.

the two hours of project runway all star challenge was SO MUCH BETTER than the actual premiere. still LOVE the show but the new designers SUCK. sorry, but maybe 3 of them had decent designs. and what a simple challenge – RED CARPET. were they for real? the last time they had to use materials from a grocery store. lameee.

very happy daniel won the all star challenge, his mini line was very wearable. korto is a drama queen, stfu already no one wants to hear you complain

IRINA had a gorgeous gown and didn’t get enough credit :/
HATEDDD Jerry’s red dress, ugh the front was disgusting, i couldn’t belive the judges liked it. OH WELL!!

lovely to see Nicole & DVF. both are fab :)

i missed it. sad i’ve been busy but i had it all planned out and i still missed it. ****. anyways i will catch the rerun.

EVERYONE, go to mylifetime.com and vote for the designs you liked from episode 1. i want to see who wins. there were some really bad designs, bad fabric choices, bad sowing, bad concepts…but there were maybe 3 really strong ones and a couple good-mediocre ones. then there were the ones that made you want to puke :).

i actually wanted to watch the model show/preview after. i want there to be another alternative to project runway. make me into a supermodel is pretty cool but they don’t have a wide range of models.

    brentbent Says:

There is an alternative to Project Runway. It is Project Runway: Canada, Project Runway: Australia, and the UK’s Project Catwalk. The first two have two seasons each and the latter has three. PR: Australia is the middle of its second season and it is the best outing the PR franchise since season 1 of PR: USA.
