OlderSenator Ted Kennedy Dies At Age 77
Sen. Edward M. Kennedy of Massachusetts died Tuesday night (August 25) at his home on Cape Cod after a year-long struggle with brain cancer at the age of 77.
“Edward M. Kennedy, the husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle we loved so deeply, died late Tuesday night at home in Hyannis Port (Massachusetts),” the Kennedy family said in a statement early on Wednesday. “We’ve lost the irreplaceable center of our family. He loved this country and devoted his life to serving it.”
“An important chapter in our history has come to an end. Our country has lost a great leader, who picked up the torch of his fallen brothers and became the greatest United States senator of our time,” President Obama said in a written statement.
Kennedy‘s memoir, True Compass, will be published in the fall.

Was a great man and senator to all people. RIP
He was one of our last links to an era in which everything changed.When he spoke about civil rights,or helping people there was sincerity in his words.Im glad he got to see Obama become President. There’s much more i can say,but for now i will say R.I.P Ted Kennedy.

Yea the american people idolize this man – but they forget that he murdered a young woman (Mary Jo Kapeckni) by driving his car off a bridge because he had got her pregnant. I don’t understand how you can idolize someone like that! Amercians have selective memory I guess.

R.I.P, Senator Kennedy, who worked tirelessly on behalf of the people of Massachusetts and the United States. Unfortunately, what happened on Martha’s Vineyard many years ago continues to be remembered by most of the Boomers. Also, his and Caroline Kennedy’s actions during the past election process with intentionally shaping the history of America forever (when he backed Barack Obama) thwarted the opportunity for Senator Clinton becoming the first female President of the United States of America. Without the interference of certain members of the Kennedy Family, Hillary Clinton would be in the White House today. Only the next three years will determine whether it was the correct decision though, obviously, she was spared the huge mess left behind by the cowboy administration and their hopeful “grab-the-oil” war in Iraq which has left this country in tatters.
Good Riddance Ted. Now more american women can feel safe that they won’t be groped, raped and driven off of bridges. I can’t believe you died of brain cancer. I wasn’t aware that you even had a brain. Adios dirtbag.

Not way harsh, Way the TRUTH. The Kennedy’s have been laying sideways in the public trough for over 50 years. Now that they’re all gone, maybe the rest of us can get a drink of water.
The only ones I feel sorry for are the stock holders for Jack Daniels. They will surely notice an exponential loss since Senator Dirtbag took a dirtnap.

I have to agree with Kelly – the Kennedy’s were a ruthless bunch and would step on anyone to get what they wanted. There wasn’t an honest one among them. There is a reason why the Kennedy clan were /are cursed. They are rotten to the core.
Hopefully Ted will meet up with Mary Jo and she will kick his mean, murderous drunken ass to hell where he belongs.

RIP. Whatever happened in 1969 happened in 1969. The fact remains that Ted Kennedy did more for the average American than anyone else in recent history.

2. Murderer – No attempt to notify authorities while a woman drowned
3. Liar – Assassinated the character of judicial nominees on the floor of the Senate
4. Womanizer – Cheated on every woman he married.
5. Enabler of Rapists – Lied to police about his nephews whereabouts.
6. Traitor – Offered to help the Soviet KGB undermine the U.S. efforts in countering military build up in eastern Europe.
I will not mourn a man who chose to live that kind of life.
