OlderEvan Rachel Wood: Vampires Swing Both Ways
Evan Rachel Wood talks about her upcoming cameo as Vampire Queen Sophie-Ann on True Blood, airing this Sunday @ 9PM ET/PT on HBO. Here’s what she told E!‘s Marc Malkin:
On her character’s sexuality: “She’s not necessarily a lesbian. Her human partner is a girl, but I’m pretty sure she goes both ways. I think vampires are like that in general.”
On Queen Sophie-Anne’s unpredictable love life: “I don’t know if I am having sex with anyone yet but I certainly have a steamy scene with someone that I don’t think you’d really expect.”
On working with Alexander Skarsgard and Stephen Moyer: “That’s another great thing about my job—all of my scenes are with Bill and Eric! I was surrounded by beautiful people constantly.”
On if she had to get naked for the show: “I can’t say I do just yet. But they are bringing me back next season, so it’s always a possibility. It’s kind of inevitable.”

Her girlfriend on the side is a vampire named Hadley who is Sookie’s cousin.
But her real lover is a male vampire named Andre who’s also her bodyguard.
She’s going to be so AWESOME as Sophie Ann. Great choice. In the books, the character has brown hair, but I like the red much better.
She is not what I envisioned. She looks harsh and a lot older than a teenager there (even a sophisticated one), but I’m looking forward to seeing how the Queen’s storyline plays out in the TV show vs. the books.

Well it’s like Twilight for grown-ups. I’ve yet to see a show more amazing than True Blood. I didn’t watch it at first when it came out, but then it started gettig a lot of buzz and nominations so I checked it out. Freaking amazing, best decision I ever made.
