Jennifer Connelly is breathtakingly beautiful in Balenciaga on the October 2009 cover of InStyle UK. Here are a few snippets from the 38-year-old actress’ interview:
On her casual go-to outfit: “A much-loved pair of old biker boots, figure-hugging jeans and an acid yellow T-shirt from American Apparel. I tend to recycle. I have Doc Martens I’ve had since I was 15 that I still wear. I have to retire them soon because they are falling apart.”
On her British husband of nine years, actor Paul Bettany: “He is a really good person – he is funny, he’s smart and he’s kind. He will surrender without vanity or ego to the story, which I really admire.”
Editorial info: The 38-year-old actress wore a a black Calvin Klein dress (with sexy cut-outs) and Nina Ricci at Harvey Nicholas boots (with a platform so high the heel doesn’t even touch the ground). Jennifer also wore paired her pastel Rodarte minidress with Nicholas Kirkwood leather strappy thigh high platform boots. Kudos to stylist Leslie Fremar for putting these exquisite looks together!

I love her work, but she needs to trim (if not chop) her hair. It’s dated.

So gorgeous! Love the shot of her in profile in the boots. And her hair is not dated, gimme a break. I realize curls and waves are in, but long straight hair will never be out of style.
That is by far the WORST outfit I have ever seen on an actress on the cover of a magazine. Worst design, worst cropping of the picture. It makes her look dreadful. What was the design team thinking? Calvin Klein? it looks like some low-end catalog piece.
She’s beautiful. And it’s true what she said about her husband. He is an amazing actor.

I love her. I saw her first in 7 minutes in Heaven: (80s) flick. She has always been beautiful, but she has grown more so with age – unlike most clebs.
she is known for usually border in the daring side in her fashion, she is not going to use the cutesy card now.
