Older'Vampire Diaries' Premieres Tonight!

They filmed this show in Monroe,Ga. This photo shoot is from Highway 11 and Highway 78. My friend was an extra on this show.

Just a bunch of cute girl and hot boys…….What’s the buzz?? Oh yeah, like most tv shows actually…..what the hell am I saying?! Personally? not interested at all…..I don’t care about vampires diaries or true blood, wtf. What is it with vampires nowadays?! Robert Pattinson was damn fugly as fugg in Harry Potter 4 and nobody cared about him at all…..and now just becausen he’s in some vampire flick, everybody drools over him. It must be nice to be chosen to be photoshopped and put in the spotlight like this! OMG wtf?! I’m gonna stop there. This is not hating btw…..I mean, I didn’t mean Rob was fugly, he’s just not my type and I don’t see what’s the hype but anyway. This show? I smell how it sucks right now!

the book was written way before– the tv show just took awhile to develop. all the other vampire sensations should look upon this as a senior :P

Seriously, CW should be called the “Remake Channel”. Who’s the writing team for them? They can’t find originality anywhere so they gotta bring back 90210, Melrose Place, and now jumpin’ the Vampire boat….
the only reason the CW made it a television show is because of twilight. so yes the books might have been out first, but this probably would have never been made a show if twilight hadnt been so big. so for me, i feel the cw is trying to cash in on the vampire fame. It does look like a decent show but unfortunately for them, they’re on the CW. And even if the network wont admit it, all of their original shows (including GG) have all be failures.

Elena looks like Kristin Kreuk! Anyway overall is good, better than Twilight but True Blood is MUCH better. The cast is excellent though, everyone is very good looking!

this show was AMAZING. a little to much like the twilight storyline, but thats whats in right now. I love their own little spin on it though, i cant wait to see next weeks episode.
Lot of similarities to Twilight. But since it’s source material was written about 15 years before Twilight I would agree that Twilight is a rip off of the books this is based on. Also the production of Vampire Diaries was much better considering it is a tv show. The cast is pretty and that is important.

It starts very twilight.. with the whole sad narriation thing just like bella… honestly look back and you will see it.
while te books have been around for a while the NEW tv series is very much like twilight… maybe itwill branch out a bit…
It is nothing like true blood…
however.. the mind reading is geting a bit old with all of this vampire things and been a psychic is along those things too.

ACTUALLY THEY SHOT THE SHOW IN COVINGTON, GEORGIA. I HAVE BEEN TO THE SETS INCLUDING ELENA’S “HOUSE”, AND THE MYSTIC GRILL! SO TAKE THAT!
Nina Dobrev makes this show…….she’s hot and in episode 3 finally began to show some skin……great legs and rack
Don’t forget that this show is being done by Kevin Williamson, the creator of “Dawson’s Creek,” the “Scream” movies, and the “I Know What You Did Last Summer” movies. In and of itself, that oughtta make this a quality show.

I’m totally hooked on the vampire diaries and have read all the books. despite MAJOR differences between film and book, they both are amazing!
all I can say is thank god for L. J. Smith!!!! or I dont think I would have gotten over my Twilight fever :D

where’s Katerina Graham..she’s more important than Sara Canning, she hardly even has any lines these days, and they killed Kayla Ewell, like, a season and a half ago! and they’re only on season 2!
