Five years ago I didn’t really notice Brad but maybe a cute guy. He’s so famous now and has definatly grown as an actor and well respected. Angelina and Brad make the perfect couple. I’m not sure if it’s Angelina, his kids, humanitarian work, movies or maybe all, but he’s just truly amazing. I so love all he’s done since being with Angelina, wish them all the best.

Brad could go bald, gain 80 lbs and I don’t think fans would be disappointed at all. He’s such a wonderful father and great husband. To the people who live in the past if he’s so damn bad why do you insist he run back to x? He didn’t want her then and doesn’t now.

Speaking of Shite Happens…I choked on my tuna salad sammich at lunch today…all because X sucks. One of the post-docs who shares my office was talking to a friend on the phone about going to the movies tonight. I’m eating and playing solitaire…trying hard to ignore his convo, which is hard because I think the guy has a hearing problem and talks loud enough to be heard a mile away. He gets online and looks at the local listings, then he and his friend were going back-and-forth about which movie to see. He’d mention something, she’d shoot it down, she’d mention something, he’d shoot it down and so on. At some point she must have suggested Shite Happens because he said, “Why pay money for that? We could just stay at home and watch Friends reruns.” He said this just as I was swallowing a bite of my sandwich and I immediately started laughing…inhaled the damned tuna into my windpipe and started choking and almost hacked up a lung. The sad thing is…I don’t think that type of thing is covered by worker’s comp. I could have died from choking and it would have been X’s fault!

Actually, the few fillerface ‘s successful movies , does not depend only on her sole star power . TBU was a success partly because VV had fanboys followers and who at that time just came from a big hit Wedding crasher, The dog movie came from a bestseller book and was directed by the director of the hit movie ” Devil’s wear Prada”, beside the 22 dogs were the star of the movie not her. HNITY also came from the best selling author of the highly successful SATC , which tthey used a marketing ploy plus a star studded powerful ensemble cast. Try putting any of the three Jessica’s on those role, it would still be a hit !!

I hope this 2 flops is just the beginning of her subsequent flops. keeping my finger cross .

The San Sebastian Festival went GREAT… the crowd was eating him alive.. the man is a Star and the fans went mad. The press conference was cute. He and Quintin get along very well. Brad talked about few films he has in production (producing) and he did mention Lost City of Z and Moneyball.. he said these are films he is trying to get off the ground. He also spoke about how he and Angie (we) try to give the kids a normal life and that he and Angie also make time for each other (cute). so the JPs are fine and well..

The haters are pissed and mad.. they want to see Brad and family 24/7.. I mean the idiots are here and can’t stay away.. talk about obsession.. I mean come on.. what other celeb is getting this kind of attention because he has facial hair.. LMAO. I mean Brad’s facial hair is more of a topic then anything else anyone else is doing.

i just watched Talk Soup and they are making fun of chin chin about her dating. it was hilarious.

Even all the 24 hour assault of ads and pr appearances could not make this movie a hit. Both X and MF are really going to get a rude awakening. Appearing on all the talk shows, including D list like CH only go to prove X does not have what it takes to carry a movie on her own. She needs VV, DB, a dog. MF also has learned that just because you are pretty does not make you Angelina Jolie. MF has some work to do. LH is a bad movie (only 16 % positive in RT), it’s not a hit, but it’s not a bomb either.
LH costs only 18 million (Hollywood Reporter) and will do around 9 million this weekend (25 to 30 million total in USA).
Universal will not do a lot of money with this chick flick, but will do a small profit.
And don’t forget that adult movies are having a difficult time at the box office (Duplicity, State of Play, Changeling, A Mighty Heart, etc. underperform), especially in USA (Changeling do great business overseas, the others not).

LH purportedly dwelt about loss, but apparently in a comic kind of way, or at least romantic kind of way. I really don’t know, since I am just going by reviews and I ain’t watching this POS. But it is not right to compare the three movies, since they are of a very different genre. Changeling I believe made over a $100M including foreign BO, and while I am not sure of the exact amount it cost to make, I know Clint runs a very tight, economical ship and C did not go over budget.

X movie should stand on its own. The merits or demerits of her movie should focus on that alone. Any attempt to hide its critical & box-office failures by redirecting the topic to something else is just too obvious to ignore. Just like when X said in advance that she’ll take a break from working. It’s her way to hide her face from embarrassment that her film might result to. She saw this coming. Her strategy doesn’t work anymore.

With arguably the biggest world preem at this year’s San Sebastian, Fernando Trueba’s romantic thriller “The Dancer and the Thief,” bowing Saturday, there’s a danger of San Sebastian becoming too frontloaded.

The fest has kept back some heavy artillery, such as Juan Jose Campanella’s competition player “The Secret of Their Eyes,” which has great buzz from sneak peeks in Madrid.

Though not spectacular, San Sebastian’s industry quotient is beefed up this year by a near complete turnout of France’s international sales sector, which loves coming to San Sebastian.

Execs from Fortissimo, the Match Factory, Trust-Nordisk, Focus Features Intl., TLA Releasing, Strand and Media Asia are expected to attend.

At the fest’s opening ceremony Friday night, Margaret Menegoz, producer of Michael Haneke’s “The White Ribbon,” accepted the Fipresci prize for best film of the year.

Changeling made in USA in first weekend in wide release (1850 theaters, a little less than LH) only 9,2 million. And costs 55 million.

If your logic is ok, Changeling was a big bomb. But, it’s not. Because Changeling made more than 2 times overseas what it did in USA.

And Changeling only made a profit – and maybe, cause it’s not sure – in home market.

I only saying that to make analysis that the movie tanked because made only 3 million in first day is not accurate yet.

I dont know if LH will do a profit and I don’t care. But, if not, the lost will be small, cause it’s a very cheap movie. If you don’t want to understand, it’s your problem. I’m leaving now.

That’s a great domestic total for TTW…especially considering it doesn’t have huge stars…or American actors! The movie has a ton of foreign markets yet to open in. Right now it’s only playing in a 4 or 5 countries outside the U.S. It’s opening in Germany this weekend, so it shoud add to it’s total this weekend. It will open in France, Italy, Japan, Russia, Brazil and Australia (Bana is Australian so it should do well there) in the next 2 months. Those are all big markets and hopefully the movie does similar business to the UK ($6.2MIL) and reach a foreign total over $60MIL, too.

just got home from seeing IB AGAIN.. the theater was not crowded, but it was well over 1/2 full.. pretty damn good if you ask me.. I kept my part of the bargin.. • She lands the dreamiest dreamboat she can find (Brad Pitt will do), marries him, then sends him off to make a movie with the hottest hottie her agents, under her direction, can find (Angelina Jolie will do) and waits for the inevitable nuclear explosion to occur. The dreamboat and the hottie take off. The good wife stays home. And waits for us to feel all sorry for her. Which—damn you, Aniston!—we do!
• Aniston rebounds from Pitt with Vince Vaughn. Because the Wedding Crasher is primo boyfriend material? Because he’s not! Because it’ll never work! Because we’ll end up feeling all sorry for her—again! Which we do! And just around the release of The Break-Up, too! (By the way, we don’t really know if Vaughn isn’t primo boyfriend material. For all we know, he’s a stand-up fellow who was just helping out a friend. Not to mention his own career. After all, Aniston didn’t star in The Break-Up by herself.)

And just in time for the release of Love Happens, too!
Enough! Now that we know we’ve been had, we vow to no longer love Jennifer Aniston and, in turn, her movies, just because we feel like somebody has to since her love life is so sad.
Then again…
The Gerard Butler thing, whatever that is, doesn’t make Aniston seem pathetic or pitiable at all. We admit we’re puzzled by this, and wonder if perhaps we’ve been too hard on Aniston, read too much into one little “dirty fighting” quote, and just been plain off-base.
