Newly single Deryck Whibley eats lunch with a pal on Friday (September 18) in Los Angeles.
Yesterday, Avril Lavigne and the 29-year-old Sum 41 frontman announced their separation after three years of marriage. Avril said, “I admire Deryck and have a great amount of respect for him. He is the most amazing person I know and I love him with all my heart. Deryck and I are separating and moving forward on a positive note.”

I’m glad they broke up so we can see more of her, because his career is almost shot, she had to slow hers down, now that it’s over she can come back in full force.
