Anton Yelchin is the Beaver Boy

Star Trek star Anton Yelchin protects himself from the rainy winds with an umbrella as he walks to the set of his new indie dark comedy, The Beaver, at White Plains High School in New York on Sunday (September 27).

The 20-year-old actor, who recently shaved off his curly locks, is co-starring with Mel Gibson and Jodie Foster in the flick, with Jodie directing.

Anton will play the son of Mel‘s and Jodie‘s characters. Mel plays the guy who walks around with a puppet of a beaver on his hand and treats it like a living creature.

I’m not familiar with his work, except Star Trek, but I’m intrigued.. if Mel Gibson and Jodie Foster are his parents, does that mean he won’t have accents in the movie? or is his Russian accent fake? Or will Mel and Jodie have Russian accents? LOL pointless I know but I’m curious!

Anton Yelchin grew up in the US, therefore he speaks English clearly. At least that’s what I thought in his other films. Of course he speaks Russian and can fake a Russian accent.

This is awful. Yes, he is still sexy as hell, but I liked his Chekov hair. He will grow it back, right?? RIGHT???
