Iron Man 2 actress Gwyneth Paltrow is featured in a new public service announcement about the value of volunteering.
“The biggest blessing in life is to realize your personal power.,” says the 37-year-old actress in the PSA co-sponsored by Entertainment Industry Foundation and United Healthcare. “Community work brings families closer together. Doing good for others, doing positive action always comes back around and enriches your life. It’s the biggest gift you could give yourself. Please join us in volunteering.”

I love the message of volunteering but I wish this woman would just go away. She’s always in the news promoting herself instead of an actual movie. At least it’s for charity this time.

I don’t know why G.P. wears that center part. It does not suit her. Nice top though.
I used to think Gwyneth and Blythe were like twins, but Blythe seems to get better with age and Gwyneth is not aging as well. She seems to favor her dad as she gets older.
What a butterface but I do like that she supports good causes.
I see Gwyneth’s back to the scraggly, hippie hair. Too bad. That bob she had for the Iron Man press tour was just adorable.

I like the ad but Gwyneth’s nasally voice is like nails on a chalkboard.

Her mother, on the other hand, looks great.
It’s nice that she does these things but she has such a bad rep in in the industry that you wonder why there seems to be such a contrast between the sweet girl in the PSA and the star the IM crew complained about.
When I first watched that advertisement, I thought it was Sissy Spacek in the beginning.
I’ll give her credit for putting her time to good use but yeah, she needs to do something with her hair.
I didn’t know Blythe Danner was Jan Brady’s mom.
Gwyneth and her mom look about the same age — that’s probably more of a compliment to Blythe than Gwyneth. Love that lady!
It is a good cause and they both rock for supporting it, but it’s time for Gwyneth to retire the straw hair and try a color closer to her natural hue. She looks like she’s wearing Eric’s wig from season one of True Blood and sorry, Gwyn, but you’re not nearly as pretty as ASkars.
