OlderCarey Mulligan Gets An Education
Carey Mulligan struts her stuff as she walks the red carpet with co-stars Peter Sarsgaard and Maggie Gyllenhaal at the premiere of An Education at New York City’s Hudson Union Society on Monday (October 5).
The 24-year-old girlfriend of Shia LaBeouf, who plays 16-year-old Jenny, was recently awarded the Hollywood Breakthrough Actress Award at the Hollywood Film Festival for her work in An Education.
There’s also been Oscar buzz about her work, but Carey told reporters at the movie’s Hollywood premiere, “It’s kind of too mad a concept to consider but if it makes more people go and see the film then that’s wonderful.”

She’s really quite pretty, the way she is styled in these photos is very unflattering. The make up is too white and that red lipstick is too harsh for her. Poor thing. She was beautiful in Pride & Prejudice and her later films too. Please GOOGLE those photos :)

You have to see here in an episode of Dr. Who called Blink – she has blonde hair and it looks better than her darker locks. But she is a really fantastic actress. At the end of the day if she likes her hair darker that’s up to her – so not trying to be mean. I almost didn’t recognize her until I went back and watched that episode, but she looks really young with blonde hair so maybe that’s why she darkened it. And when I say really young I mean 19 years old young. BUT SHE”S AWESOME!!!!!

There really are some unncessarily spiteful comments here – leave the girl alone; are you all so cute (and talented) yourselves? Doubt it very much. Haven’t seen her acting skills yet but take on board the positive comments I’m hearing here and on other boards. As far as her look goes, she seems quite petite and I personally think the gamine look with short hair suits her. This outfit wouldn’t have been my choice but each to their own eh?
Carey is an absolutely stunning young woman – but her current colour and cut is not very flattering at all.
Check her out in Doctor Who season 3 and An Education – she is wonderful and a talent to watch in the future.

Shia and Carey have never dated that was all a huge PR stunt, it never happened. They were friends was all. People believe too much of what they read on gossip sites.
Yeah she is one ugly girl too. I think that if she grew out her hair she would look a bit more classy.
