New couple Katy Perry and Russell Brand leave their hotel in the Place Vendome and hold hands as they visit Pere Lachaise cemetery on Wednesday (October 7) in Paris, France.
Katy, 24, and Russell, 34, paid their respects at the final resting places of rocker Jim Morrison, playwright Oscar Wilde and chanteuse Edith Piaf (Marion Cotillard won an Oscar for portraying her in La Vie en rose).
Earlier in the day, the twosome were seen holding hands at the John Galliano fashion show.

This looks like nothing more than a major publicity stunt. They tweet about their “relationship”, go to the most public places to be photographed together (trust me, there’s LOADS of places in London they could go out of sight of the paps), they don’t even look like a proper couple – they’re both paying more attention to the cameras than to each other. Hilarious!

@Nicky: Eh, I don’t know. I know what you’re saying about them looking at the cameras but it could be because they don’t like the attention or being followed. It’s not like their smiling at the cameras, ya know? There is something between them. I don’t know what it is yet. I’m thinking it’s a good thing….I hope. It’s kind of vague but whatever it is it’s powerful.

Of course it won’t last. Hell, I’m shocked it’s lasted more than a week. Katy always seems to go for these sleezy types. The only viable thing these two have in common is that the’re both in love with Russell Brand. Think I’m being harsh or judgmental? A small bit of Googling on the guy tells the tale. Rarely do they come any sleezier. But then, maybe THAT’s the allure? The “bad boy” thing? Women seem drawn to that type, thinking they can change them. Problem is, men like that never change.

I am really, really not feeling this couple at all! Not terribly fond of Katie Perry, but I cannot imagine what she sees in him. Still, if he’s as wild as the reports like to claim, Perry may have met her match. To each their own! I prefer my men a little more clean looking than that.
