Why are people picking on them? They do and behave like a regular couple. Just because they choose not to show affection in front of cameras doesn’t mean they’re pretending to be a couple. I think Hayden learned his lesson while dating Sienna Miller and how they were splattered all over tabloids.
Also I believe Hayden and Rachel’s relationship, physical or otherwise, is pretty intense. Still waters run deep and no one can judge anyone on a few pictures. I’m not a fan of either, but he’s clearly in love, she’s in love with him and they’ll have a great life together.
And just so people know, “whoring” in front of cameras is what Hollywood is all about. I think they are a good match. I think he lost all his great hopes and aspirations he had at the time of SW fame. I think the only reason this relationship between HC & RB goes on and probably leads into marriage is making bucks together – it’s all about the money as both of their careers are basically over, but together they still get some (undeserved) media attention. I would call it a “contract-love” in which the word “love” must not be understood literally.

Well, they don’t appear as a regular couple to some people. OK? Hayden finally found a girl of his dreams and proposed. WOW. Where is the love? He is only 28, he should show some emotion. I saw pics of him with other females and males, he always has an expression on his face, with Rachel he always looks like he is a mile away. Now, why is that? What is wrong with holding hands and kissing and helping with groceries. He has not seen her in a while, shouldn’t he be missing her? Grant it that they spend time in private and we can’t see them, thank god, but when you see them in pubic, they look cold and distant. Not everyone can have a career as good as Harrison’s, but I think HC’s done quite ok for himself, compared to others in the SW franchise, most of them, HF notwithstanding, have never reached the same level of stardom as when they were in SW. I think Ewan’s had a pretty good career before SW and he still gets steady work after SW. Nat’s career speaks for itself but the rest from the original and the prequels haven’t done much. No offense to Mark Hamill but HC is no Mark Hamill, though I think the accident that changed Mark’s facial features had a lot to do with why he didn’t get more work.

No, HC likes sports and grew up in a competitive environment, he would like to be an A-list actor and would love to date one, but has to settle for what he can get. May be you are right and he does not care anymore but he certainly had aspirations before. Do you remember during SW how he stated that he checked out Oxford and wanted to get a degree in literature? How he said he chased after the script for Shattered Glass. He definitely, if not anymore, had dreams and aspired to better things, now he has to settle with reality and Rachel is big part of it. She wants to settle down and have a family and he is a rich and good looking guy so she is not going to let up on him.

Like I said before, I just don’t think he wants to end up on covers of tabloid magazines like he did with Sienna. He is a private guy, dating not so private girl but he’s ok with that and chooses not to show any emotions in public. Not every couple likes to draw that much attention to themselves.
