OlderTom Welling: Inside the Secret World of College Cheerleaders
Tom Welling dons a Boston Red Sox cap as he flies out of Vancouver International Airport on Friday (October 9) in Canada. FYI: The 32-year-old actor is already back in Vancouver.
Tom has been co-executive producing the current ninth season of Smallville. Variety also recently reported that Tom, Kevin Murphy (Desperate Housewives) and A.J. Marcantonio will produce a big-screen adapation of the book “Cheer: Inside the Secret World of College Cheerleaders” through Warner Bros. TV and Tom Welling Productions.

Smallville doesn’t need to be all over magazines like Gossip Girl. It has a strong following that won’t flit out if they don’t see the actors in magazines all the time.

He is hot! Had to stop watching the show b/c his hotness was too distracting. However this show isn’t going to last forever. And he needs a better project to work on then some cheerleader movie. It’s been done MANY MANY times.

If it isn’t the reclusive Tom Welling. The project venture sounds like a yawn fest and extremely dated …. a lot like Smallville I guess. I mean, who gives a toss about cheerleaders? Who gives a toss about Smallville…… I won’t go there.

Tom Welling, You are the most handsome man in the world. I don’t understand why some of Hollywood’s producers don’t see what a leading man you could be.
