OlderLeonardo DiCaprio: The Next Sinatra?
Leonardo DiCaprio continues to film scenes for Christopher Nolan‘s Inception along with Ken Watanabe and Ellen Page at LAX airport on Monday (October 26).
The 34-year-old actor goofed around with the crew and at one point even stuck his finger in his nose!
Leo may be teaming up with director Martin Scorsese next year for a new biopic about Frank Sinatra. Leo has worked with Martin before on movies such as Gangs of New York and the new upcoming drama Shutter Island and seems to be a strong contender for the role. Other actors rumored to also be vying for the role of Ol’ Blue Eyes are George Clooney and Johnny Depp.

George Clooney being considered for the part isn’t true either. Like I said before, Martin hasn’t even begun to think about casting. The reports of Johnny Depp, George Clooney, and Leo being considered are totally false.

But I most certainly don’t want him to play Frank Sinatra. He is NOT a singer, and he won’t understand that person….as he admitted he didn’t understand Howard Hughes. I strongly felt that during the whole movie. I don’t want another “Aviator”…ugh.
I agree that leo is not the right pick for Sinatra – totally wrong face and body type. Same with Clooney. Johnny Depp could play anybody, and that would be a very interesting casting. Also, Robert Downey Jr. could play anybody, he is the right body type and height, AND he can sing. He might be an excellent choice.
