OlderKaty Perry to Host the MTV Europe Music Awards
Katy Perry poofs out her hair and strikes a pose with some MTV trophies in these promo shots for her upcoming hosting gig at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
The 25-year-old songstress will be hosting the show for the second year in a row. This year’s ceremony will be broadcast live from Berlin on November 5 (Thursday).
After winning Best New Act at last year’s show, Katy is nominated again this year for best video for her work on “Waking Up In Vegas”.
Jay-Z and Robbie Williams, both EMA nominees for Best Male, are expected to perform, while soulful singer Joss Stone will be running the red carpet.
Other celeb presenters to look out for: model Bar Refaeli, Brody Jenner and Best Group nominees, the Jonas Brothers.

@ #6 Whose idea was it to make her host again? Gosh! I’m no Einstein, but if I were to hazard a guess, I’d say the guys running MTV probably had SOMETHING to do with it.
Why even still call it EMA? It not as if it shows more than 1 or 2 European acts.All the awards that go to the European acts are taped at a different time so it won’t affect the American artists with having to listen to people they don’t know. It just an American party in Europe where they can drink legally.
