OlderSteve Martin & Alec Baldwin: Oscars Co-hosts!
Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin will serve as cohosts of the 2010 Academy Awards.
Show producers Bill Mechanic and Adam Shankman said in a statement, “We think the team of Steve and Alec are the perfect pair of hosts for the Oscars. Steve will bring the experience of having hosted the show in the past (he hosted twice) and Alec will be a completely fresh personality for this event.”
The ceremony, which was hosted by Hugh Jackman last year, will air live on Sunday, March 7, 2010 on ABC.

I love both of them…but haven’t they already tried the co-host thing and it failed?! I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. I wish they would just bring Billy Crystal back already.

Gutted Hugh Jackman declined the offer to host them again. He was brilliant last year…hopefully he’ll do it again sometime soon.

I want Alec Baldwin to work out and lose some weight. I like him a lot but I find myself worrying that he is going to get sick. Come on, Alec, what are you waiting for?

Yes, they are both very talented and Steve Martin was brilliant when he hosted some time ago. Personally I didn’t like Hugh Jackman last year.

LAME. Will be as boring as usual. Last year was the only exciting year the Oscar’s have ever had when it comes to a host.
