Charlize Theron Releases The Road

Charlize Theron arrives with longtime love Stuart Townsend at the AFI FEST 2009 screening of The Road at the Chinese Theater on Wednesday (November 4) in Los Angeles.

The 34-year-old actress wore a gorgeous Dior dress and Giuseppe Zanotti Design shoes.

Charlize stars in the film that is based on the 2006 novel of the same name. Viggo Mortensen and Kodi Smit-McPhee play a father and a son in a post-apocalyptic wasteland.

Tom Hardy and Charlize are reportedly in final negotiations to star in the fourth installment of the Mad Max franchise, titled Fury Road.
