Demi Moore Covers 'W Magazine' December 2009

Demi Moore looks golden in Balmain‘s leather and metal mesh dress on the December 2009 cover of W Magazine. Here are some interview highlights from the 46-year-old actress:

On being labeled a “cougar” for marrying 31-year-old Ashton Kutcher: “I’m certainly not the first person to be in a relationship with a younger man, but somehow I was plucked out as a bit of a poster girl. I don’t know why that is. But I just kind of step back sometimes and say, ‘There is some reason, and what is it that I have to share in a positive way?…I’d prefer to be called a Puma.”

On using Twitter to transform her public image: “People are much more interested in what I have to say directly, and that really changed the whole dynamic I have with fans…I can’t impress enough the difference in how people are perceiving me. They’re getting to see who I am.”

On how age is stifling her career: “The frustrating part is that the type of roles I’d be interested in are not really coming to me. I hate to say it’s a function of my age [47]—but yes, I think in some ways it is. The majority of [female] roles are geared between 25 and 35.”

  4. 4 Says:

And this, ladies and gents, is what you get after hundreds of thousands of dollars of plastic surgery, professionally applied makeup, intricate lighting, professional hair stylists, a fan and hours upon hours of photo-shopping. Well done Demi!! You don’t look a day over 30. I have more respect for Jamie Lee Curtis who likes herself enough to be herself.

Yeah I agree, her body is gorgeous and perfect, but I suspect it won’t be too long until the fat inspectors appear and start calling her names and criticizing her look.

Gross! I can’t stand skeletal photoshopping.

Shame on you Demi! Is this what we want women to be? Emaciated skeletons? I am sickened!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    LeviKlein Says:

I don’t know who her plastic surgeon is, but that person knows his/her job. I guess the airbrush didn’t hurt either but seriously, how can this woman almost be fifty?

    ROCKY Says:

Talk about ‘doctoring’ a picture! I think she’s pretty and it’s a shame none of her daughters are. I mean they have to compete with their mother and that’s hard. Wonder if I can hire that photographer so I could look this good. HA! HA! If the camera adds 15 to 20 pounds on a person, then Demi is a bit too skinny for my liking. Sorry.

Shes not fit as fcuk ,its called ”photoshopped” to the max

    Ladyb Says:

First, she looks awesome. She’s like an older Megan Fox.

Second of all, you guys that are saying her image is completely airbrushing should wake up. Air brushing can only do so much. This woman has an awesome body, which she works extremely HARD for. I would love to see the before and after image, and I am sure she still looks great

    Memei Says:

she looks amazing poor rumer hah

    Harry Says:

Nice to know that photoshop is used on all covers now, it’s a shame because she is a very pretty woman but honestly looks a bit too thin with that collar & shoulder bones sticking out & woman complain about societies view on their bodies. Christ if this is what is shoved into your face on a daily basis I can totally understand the fascination of plastic surgery, & any help you can get from either bottle, knife or whatever.

    Chrissy Says:

With all due respect, who cares?! Demi Moore was never the most talented actress even when she was working all the time. When’s the last time she did anything relevant to the industry?

  19. 19
    Kelly Love Says:

She still looks pretty good. I didn’t realize she was that old.

    Christy Says:

I’m really getting tired of these magazines with the airbrushed covers. The women all look so fake and it’s worse than ever. No wonder magazine sales are down.

    bruciebaby Says:

Good actress and I don’t get why she’s no longer making movies, or rather, being offerred good roles. Pics are airbrushed but Demi is looking great in the flesh. I still have a huge crush on her sexy ex hubby! Ashton’s not bad looking though.

  22. 22
    Kelly Love Says:

She looks kind of hunched in this picture as well. Does Ashton want to have more kids?

  23. 23
    puma Says:

Who is that girl? I wish magazines should not over photoshopped their covergirls to the extent that they are barely recognizable. This picture made me think that my magazine is outdated. It’s hysterical because I thought that this picture was from 20 years ago. Hello?
    This is just not right!

  24. 24
    ommmz Says:

thank you for doing women proud, demi!

  25. 25
    Shurly Says:

Seriously, something doesn’t look right. Is it the nose ??? It looks different… or I dunno what, but it doesn’t look like her at all. And I’m not talking about the body, just the head, it’s weird !
