True Blood star Stephen Moyer sizzles in Issue #16 of VMan magazine.
The 40-year-old British actor spoke about what he did on vacation, escapism, what he’d love to do next with fiancee and co-star Anna Paquin…
On his vacation: “I’ve been out at the beach surfing, skateboarding, running around with the dog. I got out of Bill’s vibe.”
On escapism: “True Blood is the apex of a pop-culture crazy for vampires. It’s people having no money and choosing to spend it on things that are truly escapist. There’s nothing more escapist than our show.”
On what he’d love to do with Anna in the future: “I love working with her and I’ve wanted to direct her for ages.”
VMan is on newsstands tomorrow (November 17)!

I really admire him because he has been acting for almost 20 years. He never gave up and kept doing part after part and now it has all paid off for him in a huge way. Great for him! He is a fine actor and it is wonderful to see him get his due! Plus, he is smoking hot, ahem.

Frankly I think it’s going to be challenging for Anna and Stephen. She’s at the beginning of her career and he’s not. I don’t see a lot of roles for him in Hollywood. It took him quite awhile to find TB and now he’s 40. There are just too many other exciting male actors in his age category. Moyer doesn’t have a whole lot of “something different.” On the other hand Anna is going to have many more years of offers and good roles. That will be difficult for them. Hope I’m wrong.

OK, first of all, Anna is NOT at the beginning of her carreer. She has had one since she was 9. Keep up. Won an Oscar at 11. 2nd of all, Stephen is getting alot of offers right now. Look up things first before posting anything, lol. Especially if everything is wrong. And the something different thing is YOUR opinion. In MY opinion, he’s a great actor and has alot of “something different” going

Actually, in Hollywood terms Stephen and Anna are probably about the same “age.” There’s a definite age-bias against women that just doesn’t exist for men, at least not to the same extent. Regardless, I think they’ll both continue to have a lot of success, both on the show and with future projects.
Now can we get back to talking about how hot Stephen is? And though it’s not quoted here, Alan Ball has some lovely things to say about Stephen in the article accompanying these pics.
