Gerard Butler Hangs Baby Outside Window À La Michael Jackson

Gerard Butler Hangs Baby Outside Window À La Michael Jackson

Gerard Butler playfully imitates the famous Michael Jackson moment — the singer dangling his newborn son Blanket — at a London hotel on Wednesday (November 18).

MJ, who later called the incident a “terrible mistake,” dangled his baby outside his cbalcony for fans wanting to see his new baby. This time, Gerry simply wrapped a potted plant with a towel and dangled it outside his window.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery?

Could gerry look more like shi*t??? Why does he always look like helll whenhe steps out?
his mother should have taught him some grooming etc bc the man always looks like dogs*t!!!

  • lavender1960

Since most of us made jokes about MJ when he was alive and MJ was skewered for this stupid stunt I have no problem making jokes about him now that he is dead. Not like all the hypocrites who jumped on the Isn”t Michael great bandwagon when he died. Give me a break.
He was a drug addict who died because he couldn’t find a qualified doctor to administer his drugs, no one else was interested in the gig. This is the man? who admitted to making up lies and rumours about himself to keep his name in the press.

  • Hugo Hurley

It’s funny how people think MJ is practically a saint since his death.

Gerard is making a joke…of something that Michael should have been charged for.

  • trying to figure it out

It wasn’t funny when MJ did it and it isn’t funny now. Someone lock this man up for a while.

  • BooHoo

Tacky, tacky, tacky…shame on you Gerard!

  • Jen

Imitation is not the sincerest form of flattery, it is just purely annoying.

  • QQQQ

G Bloater is an ass_hole. Anything to be in the news.

  • McK

For God’s sake, Michael Jackson is not a saint. Did Michael Jackson ever do anything tasteful? Why the hell do we have to be tasteful to him now?

  • Please Mr Butler!

Not that Fryguy and Gerbut know what folks think, but why oh why did no-one ever count to 10 and think before G does tacky lame stuff like this.
Its is not funny – neither is the sad, fatuous and ridiculous defence of this silly non joke by the phannies. Grow up women – you make yourself look even more stupid than usual on a week when the phannies have been completely outed by the British Press as the needy, inappropriate and laughable crew they really are. Go back to the mothership ladies and regroup and maybe find time to check in for once with reality. Your hero is often dumb (not goofy and sweet), crude (not boyish charm) and tasteless (not the born comedian you think).

Gerry – take a long rest please, maybe we can put this silly non prank down to tiredness – but I doubt it. It seems like the behaviour of a dumb man who believes his own omnipotent press.

    Now that’s just funny!

Everyone thought Michael Jackson was a creep until he died. Yeah, people listened to his music, but on a personal level almost everyone was creeped out by the guy. But suddenly everyone just loves him and is on the ‘Michael Jackson is awesome’ bandwagon. Please. It was a stupid thing he did, everyone agreed so at the time, and it’s funny as hell that Gerry make a joke of it.

  • Anna H.

You know, let’s be honest here. If we were his friends, hanging outside his window and he did this, I’m sure we would all laugh our heads off. I know I would. Problem is he did for the photogs who were probably annoying the hell out of him. Still, shouldn’t have done it. Too many sensitive people out there. When you’re a celebrity you have to think of this kind of stuff. The guy’s got a sense of humour but sometimes it’s best to keep some jokes between friends.

  • AutumnM

Gerard is so stupid for this.

I’m not a hypocrite ’cause Michael Jackson has ALWAYS been my favorite singer and celebrity, so I’ve never bad talked him like most did. I’ve always loved and defended him. The jokes about him are OLD now and they’ve been old for years though.

How many frickin’ times can people make fun of the baby dangling incident, plastic surgeries, allegations, etc.

It’s tired and it’s been tired for years. I didn’t find most of the jokes made about MJ when he was alive funny and I don’t find it funny now.

  • PC or not

IMO, Michael Jackson was creepy when alive. Dead, just as creepy. People who want to push some misguided pc image of him make me want to spit up.

  • AutumnM

And no one is saying MJ was a saint btw, but he’s done a lot more good than Gerard ever has. He is in the guiness book of world records afterall for being the most charitable pop star ever. He donated millions, but of course the media never talked about this. What has Gerard done for other people? Who has he helped? How much has he donated? MJ donated at least $300 million to charity. What has Gerad’s big nose, ugly ass ever done?

Maybe to the general public MJ was a freak and a creep, but for those of us who have followed his career for years and remained fans, he was an eccentric, but misunderstood genius. I loved him when he was alive and I love him now. Not everyone is a hypocrite and not everyone was against him. Michael always had a big fanbase, so those of you saying that everyone bad talked him are incorrect. Stop being so brainwashed by the media. Idiots!

  • PC or not

I was never brainwashed by the media about Jackson. His life speaks for itself, and it’s screaming abberation.

  • Stinkylouise

Since MJ has been elevated to sainthood since his death,I think this publicity stunt is going to bite G in the *ss.But it is funny as h*ll.

  • Gaelic

    sgeamh. sigh.

  • what are you thinking G?

A creep or not, MJ deserves respect in death. Gerry’s joke is tasteless and he should have given it more thought before he sprung onto the idea of imitating MJ. Tsk tsk, Gerry…..

    A Gerry fan.

  • http://. _________

If JJ hadn’t put the picture of Michael alongside of GB (which is tacky), then it may not have seemed to be as offensive as some posters are commenting.

  • Emma

Lol oh man, I wish I was I fly on the wall on his publicist’s room.

  • Question

Why does MJ DESERVE respect in death? He didn’t earn it with his personal life.

  • Joy Fehily was Taking a Sh!t.

I agree that it’s tasteless . . . but I’m still laughing and sending the link to friends.

  • mia

I don’t get why this is getting attention. It was just a joke, lame or not, and it certainly was nothing that particularly dissed Jackson. He did dangle a baby didn’t he? Or is that being wiped from the record books now too?

All JJ has accomplished by posting this is to bring out a bunch of people fighting over whether Jackson was demented or not.. Been there, done that.
