Carrie Underwood is all smiles on the red carpet at the 2009 American Music Awards at L.A.’s Nokia Theatre on Sunday (November 22).
The 26-year-old singer will be performing tonight and is up for the award for Favorite Female Artist – Country with fellow country ladies Reba McEntire and Taylor Swift – tough competition!

Carrie is not pretty. She looks like trailer trash that is trying to look sexy. She wears way to much makeup. Bet she looks like crap when she wakes up in the morning. She is a snotty fake. Glad Taylor Swift beat her butt at the AMA’s. She could teach Carrie how to be classy, natural and humble!

@carmen–you should get your eyes examined. Carrie is incredibly beautiful, and a classy addition to what was a trashy and cheap awards show this thing was. Taylor is talented as well, but very much an amateur. Taylor’s live performances are horrible, she needs more time to hone her skills. No dissing here, I’m just saying that by giving her the Entertainer of the Year Award and some of the other high honors she’s getting is doing her more harm than good. She needs experience, some concert time and working with old school professionals to hone her craft. She really should give Kanye some accolades, without that cr*p he pulled she wouldn’t have won half of the awards she has in the last couple of weeks.
I have to say that i am far from a country music fan (I mean far), but I really like her strong voice.
