Nine is a musical that follows the life of world famous film director Guido Contini (Daniel Day-Lewis) as he reaches a creative and personal crisis of epic proportion, while balancing the numerous women in his life including his wife (Marion Cotillard), his mistress (Penelope Cruz), his film star muse (Nicole Kidman), his confidant and costume designer (Judi Dench), a young American fashion journalist (Kate Hudson), the whore from his youth (Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson) and his mother (Sophia Loren).

I originally wanted to see this only for Nicole. But now, even knowing that shes got just a small part, I’m still rooting for this show sooo much.
Why “Kate Hudson and Nicole Kidman?” Last time I checked, there were other, more accomplished (than Hudson, at least), actors involved in this film.
This looks great. Another Oscar for Nicole and DDL!
It is cool that even though Tom Cruise left Nicole Kidman for Penelope Cruz, Kidman did not engage in a public-hate-a-thon and can work with her husband’s ex-lover. Jennifer Aniston should take a bit of advice from Kidman and get some class and stop using every interview to whine about her broken heart and hate for Angelina for Brad’s decision to dump her.
