Olivia Wilde Covers 'Lucky' January 2010

House hottie Olivia Wilde strikes a pose in a Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti satin dress on the January 2010 cover of Lucky Magazine, on stands December 8. Here’s what the 25-year-old L.A.-based actress opened up about:

On her fashion alter ego: “I find myself constantly pretending I’m a chic Parisian. I even dream of buying a Balmain jacket with really sharp shoulders. If I can pull off that look, I will have succeeded, at least partially, in my quest.”

On her favorite bargain haunt: “Coats from H&M are inexpensive and usually have something extra going on—so even with a simple sheath dress, your outfit is still interesting.”

She seems like a nicer person and all, but I think the media plays it up more than she deserves, because from everywhere I read articles and comments, nobody seems to really care about her, or find her THAT attractive, as the media makes her out to be.

Wow, she’s not showing any skin, that’s a first. Although, it looks like they photoshopped her lollipop head onto someone else’s body, her neck is way to long, like a Barbie doll

# 3

@Try: I agree! She looks like a plastic doll.

Why does this ****’s forehead look like it has been botoxed recently?

@ #1 The reason the media is so high on Olivia is because she’s a ridiculously intelligent and educated woman. She comes from an incredible family and is such a down to earth intellect, I love this woman, I wish more actresses like idiots like Megan Fox who get more attention would be like Olivia.

If you really pay attention you will realize that she is a really cool woman, watch an interview with her and you will see what I mean. Plus her husband is a great artist and director, I hope she gets good roles in the future and has a great career, finally someone with substance.

@ #6, there are plenty of intelligent women in Hollywood who deserves the media coverage like Natalie Portman, but the PUBLIC wants it in the first place. Portman has the work and the beauty to back it up, and people are genuinely interested in her, whereas Wilde doesn’t have the credibility yet. People don’t care YET that Wilde’s intelligent and beautiful.. so I’m wondering why there are frequent posts about her. Ideally, I’d love to see more posts of Wilde than any Kardashians, but you have to admit Maxim voted her #1 sexiest and lots of people were going ‘who?’ By the way, Megan actually draws people in (in both good/bad ways) so Megan > Olivia.

olivia’s my favorite. <3 her!

I like her maiden name wood c-ck better

@Rita, Megan > Olivia? Yeah for selling guy magazines and that’s about it. Jared won’t post only Megan because it gets him hits. He posts on a regular basis so a post about Olivia isn’t going to hurt him. Plus you would be suprised how many people hate Megan….a woman’s magazine like Lucky is appealing to women….not men. So therefore they don’t really need to put Megan on their front page to sell.

Everyone has to start somewhere right? I think she’s a very good actress and she is incredible in House. She’s also very hot in that show as well.

@Naima:
“well educated”… She did NOT go to college.

Am I the only one who thinks her responses are insanely plastic (like her face) and sound completely rehearsed? So much for “down to earth.” Name dropping Balmain? What a joke.

damn, they really photoshopped her face, didnt they lol
she has some nice outfits on, they should have just not altered anything and she would have looked better than that plastic look they gave her

dude she looks so much like a Barbie doll, but not in a bad way!
she looks gorgeous!
PEOPLE just because she doesn’t get that much attention doesn’t mean that she’s not talented. IMO she doesn’t play many parts that are shallow and stuff because she wants a solid career…

Couldn’t the airbrush artist do anything with her face?????

Ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

Is it just me or is it the case that all you have to do to be considered hot these days is be skinny and white? Hell, I don’t discriminate, I just believe that there are many different women of various colors and cultures that are hot, but we get over saturated with these same types that fan boys drool over. To each his own, but I don’t believe this Wilde chick has anything on a Christina Hendricks, Sofia Vergara or Sanaa Lathan. All beautiful women of different colors.

Very beautiful girl indeed.

Yes white and skinny is freaking hot and sexy.
